1976 MAC Photo Poster
 

I found this poster on Ebay. Upon further inspection, I noticed that just about every member has his/her shirt open....except Mick, who just couldn't pull it off...? (Or maybe his fly is open?)

Judging by the look on each one's face, I don't know what to make of it.

Are they pissed? Are they bored? Are they giving us a *sexy* pose?

I don't know, but I have always wanted that one. It just never comes up at a time that I can afford it. I've been outbid on it like, 7 times since probably 2000 or 2001.

Christine is pissed off because Lindsey showed up at the photo session wearing the same exact outfit. She was in the process of changing her blouse in this shot.

Lindsey was practicing his "Blue Steel."

Stevie was glad she was actually wearing clothes for a change.

Mick is anxious to end the photoshoot because he's paying the photographer by the hour.

John figure he should f@g it up since he is so close to Mick's package.

OMG ~ That was the 1st Mac poster I ever bought (back in 1979). I thought it was so cool until I realized there were better ones out there. I never really liked it - none of them look particularly good - and I gave it away a friend in the early 80s.

I love this shot of Christine, she pulls of this look quite well.

John in shiny jackets = happiness.

I think Lindsey may have left his brain in the studio when they left for this photo shoot. He sorta looks like there's nothing upstairs in this pic.

It's not like anything's going to fall out. :shrug:

Stevie: (Shocked) "What?"
Mick: "I've got a secret!"
Lindsey: "Pudding! I love horsies!
John: "I play bass."
Chris: "I can't seem to shake these things out."

am i the only person who thinks that looks NOTHING like mick?? :confused:

Wow!. A about 15 years ago -- I'm not sure where-- I bought a huge poster featuring a different pose from that photo shoot (1975 or early 1976). It's an amazing poster!!!

Recently I was looking at it, amazed at how young and crazed they look. This shot really caputures their bohemian/cocaine essence of that time. Their clothes are more "street" than we're used to seeing (John excluded!); very hippy/seventies. And they all look completely zonked! It's really funny to see. Mick's, Chris's and Lindsey's eyes are bugging out of their heads. John is completely blank-faced, and Stevie has a very giddy guilty look on her face.

I love it. There is no other photo that captures them quite like this. It's very raw, and the debauchery is right there to see!:blob1:

It appears to me that John is channeling the future Michael Jackson look.

This picture is really cool. Too bad I didn't have a poster with this photo! Love the mysterious (almost seductive) grin on Chris' face. The rest of them, esp. LB, are def. tweaking.

Yes and that also looked like the one in Fleetwood's 25'aniv. book. Though I'm pretty sure Lindsey appears at right side, not left. But I'm sure they are wearing same clothes

lol....who knew that John was such a forward thinker when it comes to future fashions! My poster is definately from that photo session, but a diffferent take. Lindsey and Stevie are smiling. Mick is more bug-eyed.

In the one with the blue strips on it, you see the way Stevie is looking at Mick. Then, in the last one, you see the way that Lindsey is looking at Stevie's hand on Mick's shoulder. That tells me a lot, even if none of them had ever given a single interview -- or written a book.

this is the same poster I have hanging on the inside on my bureau door.

I got it on eBay about 5 years ago, and I think its a knock-off version, because its smaller than a normal poster and the "Fleetwood Mac" wording is different.

As for photo w L looking at Stevie's hand on Mick's shoulder, I was thinking the exact same thing. Looks like John is noticing it too.

Thanks for sharing the outtakes of these pictures...There an Ok picture set but I'd have to say that poster isn't my favorite at all. I think the outtakes are better than the actual poster. I wonder why (?) they chose that picture of all the others that look much better?? I have the smaller poster & the larger one too. Anyway, thanks for sharing them.......I love seeing different outtakes of various photo shoots...they've had so many photo sessions.....:D
