wow
i would pay full price ticket to see her do that 15 times in a row.
and then come back out for the encore and the 16th time.

Thanks so much.:xoxo:

Livia 10-21-2007 03:01 PM

Gorgeous!

JazmenFlowers 10-21-2007 03:01 PM

she had some life in the performance. I can't think of a single SYW performance that I really liked. this was really, really good. yay Stevie. now, just repeat this for the Soundstage taping!

yep yep

it just reminds me how much i LOVE the bella donna tour version of this.
She gets so into it and looks so tore up.
her voice gets shaky but strong - that whole vulnerable/strong thing she does.
and even plays some bongos on the way by.

Thank you for bringing Sara to all of us to enjoy!!! Are you aware that you posted Part One twice?

AliceLover 10-21-2007 03:24 PM

"Could you speak a little louder"
"And the wind became crazy - crazy"

That was FANTASTIC!

SpyNote 10-21-2007 03:26 PM

Thanks Lorio! I like it when she sings, "said you bring me light." :)

I can't really hear the drum parts, but it must be kind of hard to recreate Mick's original "heartbeats" during the verses.

I know, that was just fantastic. She should drop Rhiannon and Gold Dust Woman and do Sara and Gypsy instead!!

Now only if we could get Rooms on Fire......;)

Did I miss something? I never saw that part???

bikerchic 10-21-2007 03:58 PM

That was beautiful! Thank you. Why can't she do it like that with FM? I miss Lindsey on that song. The whole singing in his mic thing :o

Sorry about that I was so excited to find Sara. I edited it

stevierocks87 10-21-2007 04:35 PM

Beautiful, although I could really only hear the keyboard and she didn't seem that "into it" to me  Nontheless, great to hear :D

Thanks so much for posting!

ps. "Rhiannon" from the show is also posted, and at the end she introduces Crash and now I totally want to hear it! edit: and it was already totally posted. Ooops. lol.

oh.

my god, I know. That's my favorite part. I almost teared up :o

thank you to the poster for this :xoxo:

Please don't stone me, but I think she sounds awful. :sorry: And I thought she sounded awful doing it on the SYW tour. She can't hit high notes at all (though she can sing falsetto), and I cringe whenever she tries. I can see her perhaps reworking this song so that she only has to hit the lower notes, and it would be great - of course, she'd never do that in a million years.

While she's at it, she ought to get a haircut and wear something flattering instead of a thousand pounds of chiffon.

It's weird - I was such a fan for such a long time, and now I can't listen to anything she did post-Rock a Little, except for The Dance and parts of TISL.

jannieC 10-21-2007 07:26 PM

Thanks for posting these- really beautiful. I really enjoyed the Rhiannon that was posted as well (and her introduction to Crash).

Of course you can hear the drums. In fact, you can hear them way too much. Mick is the only drummer apparently smart enough to play the drum on Sara the way it's supposed to be played: with brushes. You should NOT be hearing the full contact of stick to snare on this great song.

It's interesting to hear it still in its original key from the album & old tours. Like Dreams & Rhiannon, Sara has stayed put!

thanks to whoever filmed & posted!
Stevie is at her most beautiful & personal, & brings such depth & light to this. These are more than songs; they are shimmering facets of the life of a woman who made the world her own.

What did you think? I loved it- and I have been getting somewhat tired of Rhiannon performances lately.

AliceLover 10-22-2007 12:25 PM

Lately Stevie has been kicking ass at the end of Rhiannon (She gets a little crazy from the Borgata show too)....I love what shes doing. Finally mixing it up a little bit!

I have to say I agree. this one and one from the CV tour are amazingly great. I can't remember if it's the LA show, but one from the CV tour is just awesome.

The Catdancer 10-22-2007 12:59 PM

Thanks for posting. This is awesome!!!!

I'm glad you all liked my videos!! I'm sorry that the video quality was so crappy though! I only took my cheapo camera because it was smaller & more compact & I wasn't sure if they would try to take the cameras away. NEXT time I'll take my GOOD camera with the 12x zoom & hope to get some better videos... lol. I was surprised that security didn't say a thing to me about it! They seemed very lax that night.. which was of course in my favor!
