double word. i don't get it.

I think it's a great choice actually. I can't wait to hear it!

but at the least, at the very least, at least she did do something different.

she really seems to lost confidence in her writing or something>?
does tom need to take her out to dinner and remind her she is a premier songwriter again? does she just like the free meals or what>?
i guess it's still to early to tell cos the show isn't over but i am not holding out much hope .

Indeed. I just could never see that. That HAS to be a mistake. Otherwise, that is entirely strange. Stevie singing:

When Im holding you so girl
Close to me
Oh and you come crash
Into me, baby
And I come into you
Hike up your skirt a little more
And show the world to me
Hike up your skirt a little more
And show your world to me
In a boys dream.. in a boys dream

Seems VERY strange. Why on earth would she play this instead of one of her many own songs that desperately need to be played? I really don't get this woman.

back to the predictable . .. that i was . . . to the predictable.
That i was.

on edit:
ok i think i am being too harsh.
it is a good retrospective setlist of her hits
but i just want more

SpyNote 10-19-2007 09:36 PM

Good song, but I agree, a strange song for her to cover. Maybe she reworded it so that she's the one hiking up her skirt?

ShangriLaTroubl 10-19-2007 09:37 PM

Gotta be something wrong with this, she wouldn't close the show with GDW

I replied that i think she is holding out for dinner this time then.

So does this give us any hints as to who the friends might be? Sara would be an excellent warm up if Christine were going to be there...
