i thought the joke was that it was bad guitar playing, dubbed over good solos?

buckymcnix 10-18-2007 12:21 AM

oh man - i felt uncomfortable, but laughed.

and i think this is just the solo guitar track singled out so you can't hear any of the other instruments. except the one with ozzy - i think they have the guitar track and ozzy's microphone singled out.

I would really love to hear how it sounds with the other instruments too.
sometimes really good parts sound terrible all by their lonesome.

and then of course . . . sometimes the gods trip . . .

or in a bastardazation of sarah speak:

There comes a time in every guitar god's life where they actually kinda deserve to get punched in the head. Just sayin'. :D

Nice. I want a yellow convertible which may not exactly work out financially but we'll see. I'm going to check them out soon. I need a car by November because mine may not pass inspection. She's ready for retirement I think. So the S has the sports suspension right? How much better is that than the regular suspension? I gotta go take some test drives. The 2006 just won an award for best resale value.

The main difference between the Cooper and the S is up until 2006 the S was Supercharged; the 2007 S is Turbo, but I am not as familiar with the 2007 options. Later this year, they are also coming out with an extended wheelbase model called the Clubman. Not quite a wagon, per se, but roomier back seat and boot.

I love convertibles but they're not the most practical in Oklahoma -- way too hot in the summer, and way too cold in the winter. Not as many top-down opportunities as I think you need to justify a convertible...of course that didn't stop me from having an MGB and a Miata at one time! Really depends on where you live.

Good luck and when you get one, be sure to look up your local club. MINI people are really great. We've met people from all over the country and I've formed real friendships with those that I've met through owning this great little car.

Let me know what happens!

Well I'm looking at the notes they are playing, and what I'm hearing and it doesnt match up. Its probably some really bad guitar player putting his own licks to the the video. I dont think what you are hearing is the actual solo from the footage. Am I wrong?
