The Norfolk date turned out to be not true, so who knows about the Chicago date. LiveNation said they were going to take down Norfolk. So slow.

Chicago show

I heard this oct. 19th show announced today on the radio. So exciting.

MacMan 09-05-2007 07:52 AM

What a tour schedule... Very sporatic.

michaelD 09-05-2007 11:13 AM

I might have to go this time... I missed her this summer...
I hear the venue is pretty intimate... One of the few I have never been to in Chicago.

camchristo 09-05-2007 11:19 AM

If it's for real, I'm totally there! :D

Rickypt 09-05-2007 05:32 PM

I like that it is a smallish theater (4400 seats). I hope this is a trend. Would be great for a setlist shakeup for the smaller venue, of course. I wonder, though, will Stevie talk the whole night about how it is the last night of the tour. Like she did at the Vegas shoe show and then again a month later in A.C.?

SandyMac 09-05-2007 06:39 PM

Well, on the 8/24/07 AC boot, Stevie did mention that there would be a few more (non tour) concert dates, but what is she using as the criteria for choosing these cities?

Damn, I want her to come to the DC area to actually perform a concert, not just visit. Granted visiting the soldiers at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital is very gracious, but please Stevie, also grace the DC area with your singing too.
Would love a date at the Patriot Center or Verizon Center. This way, she can invite more soldiers to her show.

Wldhrt315 09-05-2007 09:19 PM

The show is up on Ticketmaster now. Sweeeeeet!

Wildheart82 09-05-2007 10:59 PM

Pleeeeeeease come back to Vegas:blob2:

kathy1 09-06-2007 07:27 AM

is anyone going to this show?

Josh2003 09-06-2007 08:01 AM

Hmmm...I am toying with the idea...

Kathy, How are you?? Glenn from Chicago here!!!

Its a great "intimate forum" and worth the go!!! About 4000 seats, 3/4 on the floor and the rest balcony (a bit high for most); all seats have a great view and if you want to see her intimately, this is a great place for it. Nice seats, comfy and small!!! Stevie like I've always wanted. In fact, I already have my tickets!! :P

Did you get good seats? All I pulled up on the presales was crap!

Sec 102, in the front, all the seats in the 100 sections are decent, Balcony is too high. Buy now or pay the broker later is my thought. Its small and will probably sell out Monday

camchristo 09-07-2007 04:53 PM

^Yeah, I didn't see anything worth buying today though. All 106, 107, 110, like rows M and back. Presales always seem to suck. Hopefully something good will pop up Monday. Otherwise I'll pay a broker to get a good seat or take my chances and wait until the date approaches when they usually release good seats.

102 is pretty good, what row?

Ticket prices are way too high for this to be a first-day sellout.

UnwindedDreams 09-07-2007 08:41 PM

It might not sell out Monday but I'm sure a chunk of tickets will be sold. Now I hope she comes to like the Beacon in NYC or Westbury (in the round)-Do you'd think she'd ever do it?

camchristo 09-10-2007 10:27 AM

I just got a ticket on TM in the pit. All kinds of different seats are popping up but I pulled the pit on my third or fourth try. Not sure how many rows are in the pit. Anyone know?

Wldhrt315 09-10-2007 11:02 AM

I was pulling up crappy seats in presale so I didn't buy. Today at 10am, I started pulling up a variety of seat locations, some close to the stage and some in the balcony. I ended up purchasing 2 tickets. One was Row C in the center section and also row A in 104. This venue is rather small so the seat location will be good just about anywhere you get.

Are you "the" Glenn from Enchanted? If so, oh boy, The Ledge is in for a treat!

rhiannon948 09-10-2007 03:46 PM

i feel like a bad stevie fan...i didn't know she had added a show in IL. however, i have kind of fallen off the planet since the start of med school.

i ended up getting a 6th row ticket at about 3 pm today. i'm quite happy with it now, considering the debacle i went through to get it! the browser did something funny and i ended up accidentally purchasing a really crappy seat when the good one was still available. however, tm was actually nice and canceled the accidental seat...whew.

anyways, i'm excited :)

I called the venue and they didn't even know Stevie was using the PIT. The lady I spoke to said that there are usually a few rows only. The seats are lower so depending on where you are, you may not be able to see the whole stage. I CANT WAIT for this show! I missed her when she came to Chicago with Chris Isaak and I was bummed out about missing that show. This is a treat for sure.

camchristo 09-10-2007 04:42 PM

^That's funny, cause I called when I pulled up front row in Section 104 to ask whether she was using the PIT and the lady said she didn't know. Well, that was stupid on my part because when I went back to TM, I saw that they had a price for tickets in the PIT, answered my own question. I got 5th row in the PIT, so I'm guessing there are only 5 rows. That's fine with me, I'll be toward the back of the PIT and should be able to see fine from there.

Btw, hi Megan! What med school did you end up in? I'll look for you at the show.

rhiannon948 09-10-2007 09:27 PM

^ hey cam :) i ended up at the chicago med school in north chicago. i'm excited for the show! do you or anyone know why stevie is doing this show? it seems kind of random, but i'm certainly not complaining :)

you'll have to flag me down if someone around you doesn't show up...i'll hop over into the pit :D

Hey Tiff,
I didn't pull up anything worth while yesterday (and of course not during the presale). Do you have experience with this venue and how they release seats? I'm wondering if I may have to end up with broker tickets or if I should wait for a release....I'm kind of nervous about that because we will be of course traveling to get to the show.

Amy,
I am so glad to hear you are coming to the show...No, I have never been to this venue before so I am not sure if they would release tickets later on. I am mad that the venue didn't know if Stevie was using the PIT. I have a first row, non-PIT ticket in the center. I am happy with the seat, though.

Keep me posted!
