-- Mr. Big and Carrie Bradshaw will be together again, this time on the big screen.


Actor Chris Noth will return as Sarah Jessica Parker's love interest when "Sex and the City" goes to the big screen.

Chris Noth, who played Sarah Jessica Parker's love interest on HBO's "Sex and the City," is slated to reprise his role in a feature film spun from the long-running TV series.

Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will also reprise their roles for the romantic comedy, to be distributed by New Line Cinema in association with HBO.

"There is no need for funeral arrangements," said Michael Patrick King, who will direct the film. "I assure you that Mr. Big is a very 'big' part of the 'Sex and the City' movie."

"While I have not spoken to him myself, Chris Noth assures me that Mr. Big is alive and well and ready to report to the set in September," King said in a statement Wednesday.

King was one of the executive producers of the TV series, which ended in 2004.

Noth, 50, plays police Detective Mike Logan on NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."

Why would Aidan come back? That would make no sense. They're over. He's got what he wanted - a wife and family.

Big and Carrie is where it's at. It's not a cute thing - it's a whole Big package...it's his demeanor, who he is - and, well, Aidan ain't got nothing on Big!!! :p

THANK you. it has nothing to do with his looks at all. I mean, don't get me wrong, he's hot. But it's just everything else. I think it also has to do with him being one that continually caused her grief. ya know? he was the one guy she could never "get". and we've all had those unattainable men, and it made him that much more powerful.

I am a big fan of the whole Big and Carrie hotel elevator scene in Season 3.

Big shows up at the hotel (while Aidan's doing her floors), says he's made a mistake, and he really loves Carrie. Carrie runs for the elevators, but Big pushes his way in...:xoxo:

^^dude. that was my favorite episode. Ever. the one where she tells him to go back to his white apartment or something. because he was bitching that nadia had made white walls, white furniture, white bedspread. white everything. omg...that elevator scene. ..just....it's as hot as it gets.

Ho'****!!! That's a HOT picture....and yes, that elevator scene is great. And the subsequent "flashbacks" Carrie has after she and Big's first fling are pretty damn hot.

Oh no no no...rent them!!! TBS sucks balls when it comes to the episodes - and a lot of time they have to edit out so much that it makes no sense.

Case in point - the Tantric Sex workshop episode - at the end they still have Miranda compulsively wiping her forehead - yet they cut out the whole reason why....

And there was another scene that was cut in the "funky spunk" episode that left me scratching my head.


I know :o When ya bring up this show I can't keep quiet - it's pretty much just the best thing ever.

And yes, you need to get your ass to Nashville to get your dvds back!!! It's a matter or some urgency, you know.

There isn't a good reason to watch the butchered TBS episodes. Rent and ultimately buy each season on DVD and you will kiss yourself later -- it will be such a smart decision. :wavey:
