Wow. You're one lucky guy to see Heart and Stevie so close together. Glad you had a good time. But, you've got to be kidding me with this statement. Really?? Heart puts on a helluva show!

UnwindedDreams 07-28-2007 07:09 PM

She sang the end of Rhiannon last night in it's original key!!! Like rosebud...I'm not even kidding...she was sick. She was jumping up and down during rock and roll, rolling her fists and arms during stand back, banging and grindin during edge...it was the best show I have ever seen in my life!

I hope you get the same tonight.

I cried during landslide.

UnwindedDreams 07-28-2007 07:45 PM

I would think you lived in Phoenix from comments because of the ongoing crystal meth problem I saw out there

So...you are saying that Stevie was "Feeling her Cheerios"? (old commercial reference)

I am glad that the show made you smile and gave you a good memory.

This ROCKS! I'm SOOO glad to hear it! She was awesome in Texas too! Glad you had such a great time, and I'll be checking You Tube for some video of this show..(crossing fingers) - And yes.. I totally believe you! She's in GREAT musical form!:blob1: :blob2:

Hawkeye 07-29-2007 08:14 PM

I need to see some visual proof of this Rhiannon ending just like Rosebud. I said that the Rhiannon ending in Verona was really off the hook as far a present day Rhiannons go, but still wouldn't draw any comparisons to Rosebud. I'd love to see this.

UnwindedDreams 07-29-2007 08:36 PM

I'll tell you that she sang the take me with you to the sky...dreamer...thing in high key like rosebud. Verona sucked compared to this!

estranged4life 07-29-2007 09:44 PM

Uh...

...yea..but when you are singing a half step to an octave lower on every vocal - it doesn't really matter what the key is when you can't SING in the original key. That's all. Suck away.:wavey:

UnwindedDreams 07-30-2007 10:36 AM

Not the recent Rhiannon:thumbsup:

Well, yes some of the higher notes are different, but principally, the songs are sung the same. Since the tone of her voice is so different though, it makes it sound lower.

Its not even that for me really. Its that its the same show from two years ago and its the most frustrating thing in the world. I just got a bunch of CV dvds and they are SO boring.

I agree...they are all very similar. I do love Concord though because she sounds sooo awesome on Dreams. Plus, she gets all choked up and is a Chatty Kathy. Red Rocks is super, but only because I can see her so clearly...facial expressions etc. Other than that....they are all sooo similar, it is hard to tell the difference between shows.

I have two more to send you and will try to get to it this week.

I liked Concord because she really seemed loosened up on that one. Im not gunna lie, I got goosebumps when she came out on Stand Back and did the twirl, while the audience went nuts.

I have to email you about all that other good stuff.

Janis_no1 07-31-2007 08:33 AM

Please do tell more about the concrod show, when was this?? im all excited to see anything that shows her genuinly having a great rocking time instead of scripted. So awesome to really see her "taken by the sky"

Here's a video of Beauty and the Beast I found on youtube.

And from the Heart show I went too...

JazmenFlowers 07-31-2007 01:35 PM

I will never, ever tire of BATB or any version.

I think it's probably my #3 fav song now, knocking GDW out of the top 3.

UnwindedDreams 07-31-2007 01:37 PM

I think she needs to take that out of the closing spot. End with Rock And Roll or Landslide.

Rickypt 07-31-2007 01:45 PM

John, did Heart have a different setlist from last year?
