Facebook vs. Myspace
So, we have all probably heard of these two social networking sites. Which one do you participate in? Which on do you prefer????
I belong to both, just recently getting a facebook account. Facebook is nice becuase people normally have more pictures on there, so that is nice. What do you all think? |
ive never used facebook
some poeple one here should post thier myspaces, so we can add each other  my url is www.myspace.com/maroon5chick18 yeah its old  |
Facebook's designed better, rarely crashes, and doesn't hang up half-way through the loading of pages like MySpace does for me.
Thus, Facebook. |
I hate MySpace...it's nothing but spam and poorly-functioning features.

OMG! Like OMG
Anyways.... My first love was myspac, then it was facebook..... now its myspace again http://myspace.com/jacobisthepoo |

At first I had a few people attempt to twist my arm to make me join myspace, so I blew it off til this past April. I just did it as a joke since I had nothing better to do that day...
Never knowing i would re-discover my true love of my life after 16 years apart...So I have to be loyal to myspace and I say thank you everyday since i have once again found my love in Christy. http://www.myspace.com/estranged4life |
I have both but I prefer myspace

Myspace but I haven't really gotten used to Facebook yet, which I was peer-pressured into joining!
|
I liked facebook much better before it went "public"... it was, when I joined, exclusive to college networks which meant you needed an email address from a university to join (hence a lot less creep-o's just there to stalk people)... but since then it opened to High Schools and later anyone... now there is already starting to be some of the spam and general BS that MySpace users have to put up with as well, but I like it too much to get ride of it!!

You don't have the "I use both" option.
They've become too similar to each other. |
i am on myspace and i love it.

I decided I'm too old for myspace. I could never figure out how to make my page more attractive, nor did I really care to learn. The only "friend requests" I get are from naughty girl spammers. The only cool request I got was from Shooter Jennings because his mom Jessi Colter is in my list of favorite singers.
The only time myspace was useful for me was when the Ledge was down and I was able to contact some of my friends here. Here's a sort of interesting story. A guy I met in New Orleans about 15 years ago and remained friends with for a few years tracked me down via myspace. He sent me a message asking if I was the right Ryan, etc. I wrote back, said yes, and never heard from him again! I wrote a couple more times and posted a comment on his page, and no response. Why would someone take the time to track me down and then never write back? Just one more thing to add to my list of stuff to talk to my shrink about. |

if he hasn't logged on since he messaged you, maybe his computer died? |

If all you have to add are harrassing, insulting, taunting, nasty remarks or name-calling, you'll be asked to go somewhere else. Taunting is defined as "aggravation by deriding, mocking, criticizing or carping". If someone has annoyed you to total distraction, but has not been abusive, it is suggested that you use the “Ignore List” feature for those people whose messages you wish not to read. Knock it off. |
