PM Error Message
 

When trying to read or send PM's:

Database Error Database error
The The Ledge database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:

* Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
* Open the ledge.fleetwoodmac.net home page, then try to open another page.
* Click the Back button to try another link.

The ledge.fleetwoodmac.net forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

I'm getting the message, too.

And I actually have a new PM waiting for me! That almost never happens!!!

Yup, I've been getting that message too. Also, the various parts of the ledge forums have been loading very slow at times. Anyone else having this problem?

You can view your PMs through "USER CP" however I find I am still unable to send one.

where do I find USER CP

Mine still won't let me view them, even from the User CP.

i sent one & it says that it is sent, but i have no idea if it was received by the other party~ & the ledge has either been super fast loading & going thru the threads or it won't open at all:( ~

yep it's a bitch. for those who have sent, I have recd via email notification but I am unable to respond. take heart, even if I could respond you wouldn't be able to read. :shrug: oh well.

This feels eerily familiar... no more PM feature, members getting banned left and right... :shocked:

Hey there. Got your pm, but couldn't send a reply. I noticed that thread appear again too, but didn't bother with any of it. I know what you mean about what you posted. I'm sure if there was something that anyone of the posters had a personal connection to regarding loss, the hypocrisy would be popping up left and right. :shrug:

Don't post much, usually only when there are interesting conversations going on (that's why I hardly ever post lately:p ). The ones that do get started seem to deteriorate pretty quickly. It seems like a lot of people are quiet these days. Anyway, thanks for the PM! Hope you are doing good!

i can't access my messages either. does any body know what is going on with them?

I have emailed Marty about the problem with PMs. If/when we have more information we will pass it along.

I've actually corrected this issue many times now. The server keeps resetting a permission setting on one of the directories preventing tmp files from being written. I'll keep an eye on it...
