Who is watching?

I've never really understood the concept of Big Brother.......:shrug:

I caught the last two minutes, but was more listening than watching. Didn't really see the house. (This rain is keeping me inside tonight & I'm not happy about it.)
I've only seen parts of seasons 6 & 7, & that was mainly for Janelle.:)

Every year I say I won't watch and every year I get sucked in again. I set the DVR to record the season today :o

The house is decorated w/ an Alice in Wonderland theme. The first HOH challenge involved giant, spinning shrooms in the backyard. And I couldn't help but notice that one of the token gays, who had to be atop one of the spinning mushrooms, had his focus point perfect for awhile - like La Nicks does during her twirls. LOL There's also a giant, spinning tea cup. The true/false cards they used were the suit of hearts.

Um, Sparky, did you have something to do with it? :D

We've got a break in our sogginess - I'm goin' out tonight. :p

I missed the first episode tonight but I got seriously hooked on this show last year.

This may not be a coincidence :shocked: I didn't see the episode (broken record, sigh) but I was looking at the BB website and one of the guys seems to really love Fleetwood Mac. Oh Stevie Nicks, the helpful tricks you teach us all.

Love the house design but some of the HG's seemed boring to me. NOT enough handsome men in the house either. The women are pretty but the men are blah this year. Janelle was my favorite the last two years.

I am SO on board with BB this year as I have been every goddam year. I say that I won't and then I do. Buh-bye summer!

I don't really like the idea of putting the estranged dad and daughter in the same house though, that's far too personal, even for me, who tends to delight in the spectacle of the tragedies of others.

does anybody have showtime 2 because everynight from 12-3am they are showing big brother after dark?

I am watching, as usual. I never miss Big Brother. it looks like it could be interesting. we'll have to see what the various personalities will be like although I'm sure millionaire bible beater and the gay boys are going to clash. that'll be interesting.

and, um, Nick? hawt. he's reason enough to watch. and Mike too.

btw, Dustin, one of the gays, is the Fleetwood Mac fan.

I just watched it. I've been on board since season one, I love this show! This looks like it will be a fun summer.

oh, and kail. hate her already for being homophobic. did you catch her "i would be heartbroken if one of my children CHOSE the gay lifestyle." do people like that really still exist?

The girls from high school that are enemies seemed kind of petty, the father/daughter thing; I wonder what is going on there (Evil Dick, he reminds me of Tommy Lee for some reason). The gay guys are a trip. They really made me laugh. :lol:

Yeah, I'm hooked again, another season. I've been watching since the very first one.

i didnt know that danielle and dick were father and daughter. My mom said the same about the tommy lee thing.

i dont know, none of teh guys are really my 'type' but i think that nick is pretty hott.

ok, dustin is officially my favorite, not just because of the FM thing, but he likes the office. thats basically my favorite show ever. and joe is pretty cool too, he likes the killers and lily allen :xoxo: the gay guys are my new favorites. drama.drama.drama!!! the ghonrea thing made me lmao so much [even though it really is not a funny subject]

i get suckered into this damn show every year. starting from season 6. mike boogie and dr.will were my favorites EVER. thier confessional booths were too hilarious.

i didnt like when that girl with long hair who got nominated was all pissy that kail nominated her, and thought she shouldnt be cause 'theyre both mothers'

i can't wait to see jessica get her sorry little ass kicked out of there. i can see what carol hated about her in eighth grade - carol seems to have grown up. jessica is stuck at 13.

i expected to hate danielle, but i really am drawn to her. i think there's a whole lot more to her than we know right now.

jen? give me a break. if she thought bawling over her photo was a good strategy, she should think again. i'm frankly surprised she didn't get put up on that alone.

i like mike a lot. ditton dustin. i feel genuinely bad for joe, because it seems he was really shocked and upset to see dustin. joe and danielle, i'm not convinced they didn't know in advance they'd both be in there.

love nick. but i don't like kail. so will be interesting to see what happen there.

and now i'm going to go hide my face in shame for knowing this much and caring this much about this show at this juncture. :o
