Um...EXACT Stevie hair
 

I don't usually do this kind of thing, but I saw some EXACT Stevie hair while I was GoFugYourselfing. You know how sometimes people are all "omigod, she reminds me of Stevie, and blah blah!!" And I'm usually all "No. Please Desist."
But this is really exact Stevie hair. It is so close that I was immediately forced to tell other people about it.

I'm not saying this girl reminds me of Stevie, I'm saying her hair is ESH. It's so close that I believe that I will get no argument. There is slightly longer bang harvest on Stevie's sides. That's about it.

Also, I didn't look through millions of pics, and I'm sure there are even more exact ones (which someone could post), but I think these illustrate what I mean, and everyone will know: It's the uneven side layers of random curl.

Hmmm.... I disagree. I watch GH faithfully everyday, and yeah her hair resembles Stevie's, but is not dead-on, IMO. It's too flat.

I actually met her (and "Patrick Drake") at a Rick Springfield show at HOB San Diego a few months back. She was very sweet, and TINY!!

Okay, are you counting from only the pic I posted, or your other knowledge about her hair? B/C I'm only going from the pic. And this is the closest thing I've ever seen to that particular Stevie style. I've already noted the slightly longer on the sides bangs of Stevie. I can't speak about the girl's hair other than this pic. Which is the only thing I mean. Because I don't watch GH faithfully, or ever (not since I was 11, that is). So, I mean only in this pic. And I have to say, you would be hard pressed to find people who have the sides of their hair exactly layered and wavy in this particular manner. Because few people would actually stand for that hair on their head. They would be all "What's with the fuzzy wavy but not curly random layers? And these bangs! It looks like I cut it myself! Weak! (which Stevie did cut it herself). When I was little, and my side hairs waved thusly, I called it "why can't my hair look normal? What are these stupid wavy layers? It's not even the same on both sides!!! And as usual, my bangs won't lay down or feather right!!" *exasperated sigh*"

Yeah. Great. When I was little, some people said that, too. It kinda made me mad that she got to be on TV instead. :laugh:

Kimberly's (Robin Scorpio) hair is very cute in that photo. I think it has a "Stevie" look to it and is very close to Stevie's cut in the photos. I loved it when Kim got her hair cut. She has beautiful eyes and the bangs help bring them out. I'm a die-hard GH fan since 1972. I use to pretend I was sick so I could stay home from school to watch it a few times during my school years:D

Stevie also looks like she did cut her own bangs back in the 70's. It has that "uneven" unprofessional look to them. lol

LOL- Grass is always greener....I always wished I HAD wavy hair! :laugh:
Anyway, Robin's hair cut is definitley based on that shag style Stevie had. It just looks ugly on her, IMO.

My God - I would love to have partied with Stevie back in the day...:blob2:

On part of a filmed interview with her way back then, the interviewer asks her something about what she thinks of all these girls copying her hairstyle. And Stevie says (paraphrase) "I know, isn't it wild? I cut my hair myself" and in the interview she basically has the same shaggy bang sides thing.

And yes, the hair looks the same in those particular pics. Anyone else find it odd that Stevie (even in candids) was rarely photographed with a cig in her hand? I mean, she smoked for years, but I've only seen a couple of pics of her with cigs, even at parties & stuff. :shrug:

Well, she didn't really start smoking until 1984 (according to her at least), so she might have had the ocassional cigarette (more often than not probably a special one) but I doubt she chain-smoked her way through the late 70s and early 80s.

Still yes, it's odd. I can probably name you all the times we've seen her with a cig off the top of my hat. :laugh:

Yeah, I think about that quite a bit. I mean, within reason. I kind of figured she was careful about it on purpose, so as not to influence anyone, or look like an ugly smoking hag in public. :laugh:

I can see where you see a resemblance in the hairdos but I don't think that its exactly enough the same that I would have looked thru a mag and said "Wow~ That hairdo is so Stevie in the 70's!" Its close but I think what did make Stevie's so different from others were those outer bangs that were a little longer on the edge~ to me, that's an important part of that hairdo of hers and the other GH girl does't have it~ and the color is off so it makes it look different! And of course~ the hair looks soo much cuter on Stevie!!! The sides look very similar though~;)

Though my mind has an endless capacity for useless information, it does prioritize. :wavey:

You're all right about the smoking! At the end Stevie said she was up to 3 packs a day!!! But I knew she smoked for awhile but was never pictured with one ~ I've seen her like 2 times w/ a cig!!! This is why I love Stevie cause she still had some class :nod: and didn't appear dirty like say~ Janis Joplin~:distress:
