Mark and Brian, June 5th
Someone over on Seven Wonders has posted that Lindsey is going to be on the Mark and Brian show in the A.M. They were at the Hanford show and I am not sure if LB mentioned it there, or if this poster heard about it on the radio. He did say that Lindsey sang the opening line to Landslide and then cracked a big grin. Hopefully someone can capture the audio from his appearance tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up on this interview Kelly and the link Livia. Nothing new, but a good interview none the less... Little bit of impromptu "Big Love" over the phone... edit: I should add that it's abit choppy at first. I thought the interview was about to start when they started playing Show You How, but they weren't ready yet... Mark and Brian then had some fun with a caller on the phone before the interview actually started. That's included here just before the interview... |
MacMan
Thanks so much for the recording! I even had a note written and I forgot. I tuned in right after he was done with the interview.

Thank you so much for posting this. I had a meeting this morning and couldn't listen to it live. I love when any of them do Mark and Brian. |
Thanks Mac. I can't download from sendspace during the day (freakin' location server is always busy then, I wonder what all these Dutch f*ckers are downloading all day long), but I'll definitely catch it tonight. :wavey:

Big Love in a different key and shortened for the jingle generation! Thanks MacMan!
[Pretty sure that Gerald will soon be raving about the raw lo-fi quality of the recording. ;)] |
That was cool - thanks for recording it.
LB sounds so happy - I love that he was at home, rather than in their studio. |
"I knew you were gonna do that", "You guys are the worst!"
Totally made my day. Lindsey really does have a good sense of humor and I think people often peg him as being a serious perfectionist which he still might be but I love his sense of humor!:xoxo: |
Great, frendly informal interview. Really enjoyed it. Very nice gesture to play a bit of big love also. I was actually amazed at how quick he got his guitar tuned up.
Lindsey really did sound like a "down to earth" guy on the phone. I'd say he would be great craic down in the pub with a few pints. although I'd say he would get full real easy, he is american afterall :p Can you imagine Lindsey trying to talk his usual talk while totally full. Now that would be funny.... |
I still can't download it. Somebody up there hates me.

I declare:
Lindsey Buckingham should improvise 12 tracks of new songs-in-development over the phone, Get it recorded on the other side of the line, take the master into his studio and overproduce the hell out of it, and bring it out. The lofi quality of this Big Love is unbelievably attractive, and he'd have another boutique-album that would rank top ten in all yearlists in the media. And I would buy it. Heck, I'd even play it. PS:Vanessa, DLD it now! |
