I love Stevie but she wrong setlists of CV tour

well first at all I DON'T LIKE THE SETLISTS of Crystal tour is so terrible songs like Dreams/Landslide/Rhiannon and principally I need to know/Rock'nRoll/How still my love(I really boring these 3)get me tired after all this time.I continue to love Stevie but she never understood to get some other songs she can sings now...why she has so afraid to make a setlists different?!?!I think sometimes she's so stupid.......I'm sorry but I'm so angry...

hi Paolo...i agree that the set list for c.v. is boring but she really has nothing new songs to add...these are the songs that people will recognise...this tour is in support for the c.v. cd/dvd she just brought out so that's why a lot is the same old as the gold dust tour...i'm just glad i'm finally able to see her for the first time and she still may add or delete some of the songs by the time she gets to the end of june...take care...pat

So what you guys are all saying is that if Stevie has nothing new to present on tour she should just shut up and not tour at all? The Gold Dust tour was to just go out on the road, started out as a Vegas only gig, turned into a Don Henley double bill thing, ended up as a solo tour. No real need to tour for a Hits album this time around. So basically you would prefer that she just stay home until she has something new to present?
You know damn well if she hadn't toured since 2001 you'd all be saying "Why doesn't she just go out and tour anyhow?" She does that and you want better songs. This isn't 1983 anymore, be happy she's doing anything at all.

THESE ARE NOT TERRIBLE SONGS AT ALL! I still LOVE Dreams, Landslide, Rhiannon and HSML. I prefer to listen to the live version today but still I love them in any form. The thing I don't like about them in Stevie's set list today is the fact that she is boring and un-inventive with them. I wish she'd challenge herself more. We all know she can do it. In all honesty, yeh the set list is bad but that doesn't make Stevie bad or make her classics bad. Plus, it's a Greatest Hit's tour. No matter what the set list was, Rhiannon, Dreams and Landslide would all be in there.

Fair enough. I agree that her set list is pretty shoddy but it doesn't make Dreams, Landslide and Rhiannon bad songs. I still go wild for the rosebud and FM Live versions of Rhiannon and The Dance version of Landslide. It doesn't make them bad songs it just makes them over-done good songs.

probably you not understood me I never asked Dreams/Landslide & Rhiannon bad songs (I'm stupid if I asked that!!) only now Stevie's lets performs others songs and above all NO COVER.

I don't get the feeling he thinks Stevie is really stupid. It sounds like he is frustrated with her setlist and even her, perhaps......and that he is using the word "stupid" to express those feelings. I am sure it is not always easy to adequately express yourself on a message board, when English is not your first language.

I Can't Wait has been done live before ..I saw her do it in Costa Mesa and San Diego in June 1986 .I believe she dropped it later in the tour.

hi all...i haven't seen stevie yet but i would want her to do most of the songs in her set list...i believe there is a lot of gold dust tour in her current lineup so for those who have seen her a lot in the past i can understand the frustration...paolo sounds like he's more frustrated than angry...saying again she is supporting her new cd/dvd this tour so maybe (wishfull thinking) when she does do a new album we'll get some dif songs at a concert...take care...pat

You're right- I apologize.

I don't think it went over well live or that she felt comfortable performing it .It just seems like one of those songs that was more production than melody IMO.

sono esattamente 20 anni che colleziono ogni genere di Live tra F.Mac e Stevie,ho quasi 500 concerti vari o piu'....non c'e' traduzione per torda cosi' ho messo "stupid" d'altronde' non e' colpa mia se Stevie non ha coraggio di impostare un'altra scaletta del nuovo tour,in fondo cosa ha ora da perdere!!!!Pensi che non la ami piu' per questa brutta setlists del Crystal Tour????

Yeah, I was there!! Peter Frampton opened the show. And, Stevie's performance was just INCREDIBLE...up to the point that Waddy did this interminable guitar solo as the intro to "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around", which probably was a stall-tactic for Stevie to dip into the nose candy & toss back more than a few tequila shots...from that point to the end of the show, Stevie was HORRIBLE...the show went from a 10+ to MAYBE a 1. On our way out of the Pacific Amphitheatre, my friend & I were halfway expecting to read of her demise in the newspaper the next morning.
