Atlanta Shows

Alright 6 days and counting...
Who's going?
Got Tickets yet?

I'm going but have no tickets yet. I'm hoping TicketBastard comes through for me but its not looking good. I've got a couple of good options. I like Chastain as a venue but when it comes to getting tickets I hate it!

JohnL 05-29-2007 08:49 AM

Im there...

I got box seats from a broker and paid out the a$$ for them. Oh well...but I am still really excited. I am going with a friend of mine who has never seen Stevie live.

jannieC 05-29-2007 08:50 AM

This was the venue I had planned on going to, but finances make it impossible. This will be the first solo tour since RAL I have NOT gone to. :distress:

golddustwoman77 05-29-2007 01:50 PM

I'm going on Tuesday night! I'm really excited. I have seventh row seats. :blob2: :blob2: :blob2: :blob2:

Anyone else going on Tuesday night?

TwistedGypsy 05-29-2007 02:40 PM

I plan on going both nights.
I found 7th row on ebay. What seat number are you?

I have seats 11 and 12. What seats do you have? We'll have to meet. :D

STEVIE NICKS, CHRIS ISAAK What's better than seeing Nicks on tour supporting her latest, Crystal Visions: The Very Best of Stevie Nicks? Seeing Isaak on the same bill in support of his own "Best of" efforts -- Best of Chris Isaak. Events in nature do occur in pairs. Expect the self-proclaimed "Goddess of Rock" and the Wicked Gamester to perform respective hits spanning both of their careers as successful rock artists. $88.50-$98.50. Mon.-Tues., 7:30 p.m. Chastain Park Amphitheatre. www.classicchastain.com. -- Brian Holcomb

I don't have any tickets yet, but I was looking at some on ebay that were seats 9 &13. I'm going to hang in there and see if TM releases anything closer to the show. PRAY FOR ME!

Beatlesfan 05-31-2007 01:04 AM

I'm going Tuesday night and have 4th row seat 5. I have never been there with this configuration so I have no clue where seat 5 is :p

Regardless, I am going alone as none of my friends/family are hardcore enough fans to go with me (the rest of my family is going on vacation and I'm staying behind to go :D ), so if you guys are planning any sort of meetup before/after the show, do you mind if I tag along? When I listen to Stevie around here I get weird looks so it'd be nice to hang with other "Crazy Stevie Fans" :D

TwistedGypsy 05-31-2007 02:32 AM

I'd love to hang out somewhere, possibly the Four Seasons. I know she said shes hubbing out of Texas but I don't see her flying to ATL then Texas then back to ATL. So if I can get myself there thats where I'll be. I hope to meet up with some other people but I really hope to just get some tickets!!!!
I'll keep you informed on any meet ups. I'm working on a place to crash just incase I get too tipsy like I am now.:D

Beatlesfan 05-31-2007 02:39 AM

Hey - if there's a "Find Stevie" party I'll be there. :D When she was here with TP last summer we thought we knew where she was at and went - turned out to be a bad joke

Musicman408 05-31-2007 05:52 AM

You all have a ball in Atlanta.

My fam was going to go, but we thought it was to short a period of time after my surgery date, so we opted for Ohio.

Stephanie 05-31-2007 09:37 PM

I will be there tuesday night in 3rd row pit:blob1:

Beatlesfan 05-31-2007 10:06 PM

^ One in front of me! What seat are you in?

Sorry I didnt read the whole thread or I would have known it. You are very close to us!

TwistedGypsy 06-03-2007 09:39 PM

I just got 3rd row seat 10 for the Tuesday show. I'm still waiting for something really good to come up for tomorrows show. Anyone sitting close to me?

Beatlesfan 06-03-2007 10:24 PM

I have 4th row seat five...

Ok, I know I'm still technically the 'new guy' here, but I was wondering if I could ask a HUGE favor of someone...

The short version of my "Stevie Story" is that I discovered her during a very difficult time in my life and her music really guided me thru it. If I get around to it and if "Stevie Stories" are shared 'round these parts, I'll post the long version later.

Anyway, Trouble In Shangri-La is by far my favorite album of hers. I am a musician and a songwriter, and I have written a song in the "TISL Stevie" style. I have a demo of it recorded and would love to get it and a Thank You note to Stevie.

The most obvious time to do this would be the "Edge Walk" however I get the impression that it's a 'girl' thing, so being a guy I'm kind of out of luck. So if there are any girl, close-to-the-stage fans going to Tuesday night's show, could I possibly give you the note and a copy of the song on CD to have you try to get to Stevie for me? I'd be eternally grateful!

Thanks,
Chi

For everyone going to Atlanta, have a WONDERFUL time! Please know that I will be with you guys in spirit. :blob2:

I wish the Fan Fire site had the burgundy hoodie for sale, would love to have one, but no shows near me so far. (sigh). Anyway.... Rock the Night guys!

Stevie rules

Stevie... come near DC and rock the Nation's Capital!!

SandyMac 06-04-2007 01:04 AM

Chi,

I just sent you a PM, you are so sweet. Let me know if this works for you.

slvrgrl 06-04-2007 07:16 AM

If anyone is still looking for tickets, I am currently pulling up 8th row in the Pit!

Kelly 06-04-2007 08:50 AM

Stevie cannot accept cds. I saw Lindsey take one once but Stevie will not take them because of potential, future copyright violations. Cory and Karen won't take them either and if you toss it on the stage, she probably won't listen to it. If she takes a cd, and then writes a song in the future with something that sounds even remotely similar, well, it could cause all kinds of problems, so she just does not take them. There was a guy on the GD tour who tried to hand her one in Atlantic City, he was standing next to me on my left. Stevie just shook her head and said "I cannot accept those, sorry".

:( That's a bummer...I'm not even signed - any recording I do is out of my basement, and the thought of Stevie even accidentally borrowing it is like WOW. So......any other suggestions? I'd like to get Something to her but not the normal "Flowers and Snoopy"

Ian 06-04-2007 12:23 PM

I'll be there, as well as the Friday show in Chicago :D

Someone already gave her a shawl, what about a designer scarf or a "Stevie style hat"

I know... I know... another pair of gloves. :sorry: could not resist. Don't know how Stevie is doing this in the heat. As the tour progresses in the summer time heat, maybe she will finally remove them.

Beatlesfan 06-04-2007 04:43 PM

^ Good idea...now to find somewhere that sells that kinda stuff in Hicksville...errr I mean Georgia ;)

It's funny, last summer someone said that they could prove Stevie was a witch because she wore 18 million layers of clothes and never sweated a drop - didn't even glisten...which was true :D

As a side note, on the other forum I post on, we try to get together before shows - is the same routine here? Everyone I know is on vacation right now and I hate going to concerts by myself. And if I manage to get a Stevie-something for her, could someone try to get it up there for me?

I've been trampled by teenage girls before, and it's NOT fun :D
