damn right TISL is ****ing hard! it's up and down and loud and soft and back again...it's really rough. considering I sang the first 6 songs back to back with little or no break, it's shocking my voice held up. my throat did get very dry during No Spoken Word, which pissed me off cause I really wanted to go all out on that song...anyway, thanks! :D

Question...where did you get these tracks to sing along to???

some are actual karaoke tracks, some are demos that are "instrumentals" and some I had help removing the vocals.

Oh my God, Planets of the Universe is ****ing AWESOME. They're all great, Jason- I wish I could have been there- I would have been such a groupie. You have a wonderful voice that reminds me a bit of Alsion Moyet's. You may not know her, but she was the singer of an '80s band called Yaz.

Anyway, I'm so proud of you- you looked gorgeous and looked like you had a fabulous time.

I just started watching ICW finally. I had to pause it right away, HAD TO, just to say, omigod, you look exactly like Stevie when you are dancing. :laugh: Perfect back to audience, tambo, then twirl front, tambo, feet moving a bit stiffly. :laugh: It's uncanny. the gold shawl is handmade (shoutout to my partner in crime for doing all the hard handstitching). I took a piece of red chiffon and cut out my typical "shawl" pattern, put the fringe on, added some decorative trim and painstakingly handpainted gold glitter circles all over it. the Rhiannon top is also handmade. I found a stretchy leotard type top at Walmart of all places. took it home and put some wings on it, pinned/gathered up the bottom to give it a ruffle effect and there you have it. the red shawl literally took 2 weeks to finish. the Rhiannon top took a couple days. thanks for noticing and asking. the clothes are the hardest part of putting these type of shows together cause it all has to be done by hand...so it's nice that someone notices. :thumbsup:

Yabbut, you know how whenever you are listening to a boot, and then suddenly everyone cheers extra for Stevie, and then you love that part in the boot, and kind of tear up right there because everyone loves your girl so much? And because she just did the most awesome vocal thing? My favorite example being Insider, Live, when they cheer loudly and extra for her at every second, especially at the end, after TP says "Stevie Nicks!!!" (ROAR!!!).

But it happens in lots of boots after her great vocal moments, and I love it.

That is what it was like for your ICW. And even better, your vocal deserved it, for sure. :angel:

And that dancing really impresses me, because, I might do good on a Stevie vocal, but chances are I can't dance her **** at the same time. It's awesome that you nail it. Same reason why I am in awe of Paula's PERFECT Gold and Braid dance. Dancing is hard. Dancing and singing together is harder than walking and chewing gum. And if you have dancing, singing, and tambo playing - well, my god, you're a genius!!! Hehehe.

Now I will listen to some others of yours...Did you do FFG? I love FFG. Iss okay, I will find out shortleh.

by the time No Spoken Word rolled around I was dying for some water and my throat started to get dry so I was scared I played No Spoken Word too safe. I did my first 6 songs back to back so it made it a little difficult to keep the ol' vocal chords, um, lubricated. I will never do that again. I will always make sure I leave a good 30 seconds to take a good drink of water.
