So, who all is thinking about going? I think my family might. Hopefully we can get some great seats. I would love to make my way up to the stage. I don't know much about the venue, but have visited their website. It only holds about 6,000 people or so, so that is cool.:nod:

Heck yeah I'm going to Youngstown. I Can't beleive that she's even going there. I live in Columbus and she ALWAYS comes to Cinccy AND Cleveland. I havent seen when the tickets are going on sale on Ticketmaster yet. The NicksFix sayes they go on sale next weekend but nothing from Ticketmaster.

Yeah AND it is an Eye-Sack less date, so that means more Stevie-ness for us.:nod: I'm pretty pumped. Do you know anything about the venue, and or tips on how to get to the stage because since I am young, and now crippled (post op.... jk) I don't have any experinece.....

I do not think it is not the last show on the tour. There are other shows scheduled that have not been released yet, such as Phoenix.
If you want to get up the the stage for Edge, make sure you get good seats. The people in the first few rows are the ones who will most easily get to the stage. (they are also more entitled than someone in say....the 28th row)

I'm originally from East Liverpool, which is less than an hour south of Y-Town...and I was very surprised that she's playing there. Guess she's trying to hit up the Cleveland and Pittsburgh markets with one stop?

So I'll make the trek home from Columbus for the show. No hotel needed!

Hate to bring this back up, but what if the show STILL isn't on ticketmaster? I am beginning to worry.:distress:

Well if it isn't on ticketmaster, I wouldn't worry, since nobody will be getting tickekts until it actually shows up...you won't be the only one.

I just called the venue and it's not through Ticketbastard! It's going through some ghetto ticketseller "gettix.com". I'm still shocked that this is the first time EVER that she's not comming to Columbus, Cinncy and Cleveland. We're lucky here in Ohio :-D

I was surprised too...I'll probably end up driving up from Columbus, though...depending on how this setlist turns out!

I use to work for Kroger (large grocery chain) and I worked the Ticketbastard counter from time-to-time. I knew all of the tricks and how to get "decent seats" if possible. Presales often mean nothing. They are seats held-back for a first quick sale and sometimes they are pre-selected as every other row. I had better luck just waiting till the say they went on sale. Since this show isn't be done through Ticketbastard, who the hell knows where I'll end up. Either way, I'm there.

Presales actually usually suck. I've always had much better luck waiting until they go on sale to the general public or waiting until closer to the show, when better seats get released. That or pay a little more through Live Nation or something like that.

Well, like I said, I got 1st section on the floor, so I am pretty happy.:nod:

As long as you're happy, that's cool. Just sayin, you probably won't get up front for Edge, being in row 17.

Ugh, I'm so angry right now, I had no idea about the presale. I guess I'll just cross my fingers that things go better for me on Saturday.

I'm still so shocked she'll be performing here! A radio station is having a win 'em before you can buy 'em day today for Stevie tickets....I doubt they'd give me 5 tix though if I won, so I'm hesitant to try to win. It would really be nice though - this wedding of ours is draining us - but I'm finding the money somehow to see my Stevie!!!!

I just hope to hell Stevie's not frightened coming here!!!!!
The arena they've built is nice, I've already seen a hockey game and Transiberian Orchestra there, and gone to a couple of other things there, I think they're really trying to turn the city around with these new buildings.......but she's going to pass a lot of run-down buildings and some street bums M-F'ing mail boxes.....

Anyone else have problems on the GetTix.Net site this AM for the Youngstown show?

I just got my tickets, 7th row so I'm not too upset but I think I'm still going to check closer to the date.

Is there anyway to trade out tickets through that website? We bought pre-sale tickets, and the ones that they are showing now are a little better.... That makes me so mad.

I'm not sure. You might be able to update them at the venue though...

I'm going. Thanks to Marissa who woke my lazy butt up this morning, I called at about 10:30 and ended up with tenth row! Closest I've ever been, so I'm really psyched! Thanks Marissa! :D

A lot of people buy better seats and then sell the original ones.

Is it just me or does it seem like this event isn't selling very well. Looks like you can still get floor seats from the 1st section (103)..........

Section 103, Row J

Should be 10 rows back. Not too bad. That means I'll be mowing over 9 rows of people at some point, headin' to the stage! :] I had hoped for a little closer......and centered!! :lol:

Gettix is totally screwed up! Let me tell ya!! I was in there at 9:55, just for the heck of it, to see if they'd let you buy any & what would come up....I was getting section 101 & 103, like row Q and row O. At 10:00 exactly I was in there, and it told me that all the seats in price level one were sold!!! WTF??!!!! It was pretty comical actually, me screaming at the computer "THEY JUST WENT ON SALE!! HOW CAN THEY BE SOLD OUT ALREADY!!!"
Best available was giving me section 216.....I don't think so!
So, I kept going between best available & price level one seating, and section 103 Row J finally popped up, so I figured I'd grab it.
3 attempts at trying to call in on their toll free phone number didn't work either - the call would not even go through!!!

They were either so totally swamped that they couldn't handle it, or they've got a lousy system, or all of the above, I don't know....but the experience was not the greatest!

Section 102 never even came up!!! At all. The entire time! I sat at the computer for an hour, and every so often I'd go back & look for tickets to see what would come up. Yeah, they sucked.
