So, any of you fans of her? I found out about her about a week ago, and hopefully today I can pick up her new c.d.

I think her music stylings are totally great. Very old school and definately a fresh face on today's music scene. :nod:

I am over the moon for Amy Winehouse. With her beehive hairdo, her Cleopatra eye makeup, those sailor tattoos and her ever present glass of whiskey & coke, this woman is the real thing. BACK TO BLACK is a perfect release from start to finish. There's no one with a voice like that. To see her live is unlike anything else. Her stage presence is amazing. When I saw her last month I was totally blown away. She's electrifying! LOVE AMY!!!:thumbsup:

I heard a snippet of her music last night and was pleasantly surprised. I'm going to have to check her out further on iTunes.

Her band is smokin' too! I just found this on youtube, not the best sound, but I dig her outfit and you can see everyone in the band.

Now it's me digging up an old thread ... but I am totally loving Amy Winehouse now! Can't get enough of the Back to Black Album. The US release of her first album, Frank, is next month. yeah! Don't know how she can drink like that every night. eek!

First I loved Rehab a lot. Then I loved Rehab Remix even more. Then I loved Back 2 Black and now I love You Know I'm No Good. Can this woman sing a bad song? I doubt it. Love that voice!!!

it's not that she needs to be a blonde barbie type at all, but she looks like a person straight off of skid row, at least whenever i see pics of her she does~
she did a show the other night, where they said she was so wasted, she cried thru most of it, no one could barely understand her & alot of the ticket buyers walked out after 20 mins~
