Is anyone here a fan?
I didn't really know anything about her, until I saw this video:

Then I read some interviews and listened to some tracks from her band, the Gossip, and I think she is amazing.

I watched it once, and then I found myself returning to play it again. I think her voice and enrgy is addictive.

I was uncertain about the live clips. She was a little screechy and sang about 6 notes. Sounded a little thin vocally. Even tough she had great energy.
The real video was much better. More range and some different dynamics in her singing. Sassy.

I have to hand it to her for wearing horizontal stripes and especially that "pick up the pizzas and go home" shot. Waving that slice around!
Very funny. The music is poppy, punky and fun. I'd love to hear her sing a slow, surging bluesy ballad and see what she would do with it. There is a lot going on there.
