Shipper Dance moment

priestofnothing posted this in the CM thread - it is the final Songbird on The Dance your, which is a beautiful and heartwrenching version of the song. That aside, note the LB SN interaction and handkiss at the end - Le Sigh and thrown down indeed :o

I posted this here so the CM homage was not crowded with shipper crap. So, let's keep it here :D

Stevie is looking hot as hell then too. *Le Sigh*ing with you.

Christine was looking pretty hot too!

Tight as velcro and in a hurry to get off stage.

AWWW I bet that was an emotional farewell.

Always, in that British way. I love her.

I bet they thought - this is the end of an era and, us. Again, thrown down indeed.

Of course- but she always does!

Didn't they come back out and do "The Farmers Daughter" after SOngbird?

the camera operator did cartwheels down the aisles to get this shot
whoooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
christine sounds great, and it is a beautiful moment.

The Priestofnothing archive sure is cool!

A really great show! :) Thanks for pointing this little moment out.

It looks like they are just about to perform that right after the bows. Lindsey gets his guitar and it looks like Stevie and Chris are moving toward the microphones to sing.

Yes, and 9 times out of 10, it was performed very badly.

gah. that was lovely.

I love that they actually take the time to bow and thank the crowd. god love em.

your sig.

i.am.dying.

'tis true, is it not? :D

totally.

I remember seeing it in 97' and even at age 7 I think I went "WTF"

yeah. it was not their best. ;)

but then, comparing anything to the "Live" version is a deathwish anyway.

....and even that wasn't "live" persay. I still think those "new songs" on LIVE were mostly studio creations.

i think very little that goes on a "live" album is live.

Oh. Come on. Red Rocks is 100% live! :p

 ok, but it's the only exception.

true.
truer.
still true.
exactly.

Haha, true.

I wonder why they chose THAT song to end their legacy with on stage. For christ's sake it has the word FARMER in the title! LOL

Oh, it makes my little shipper heart skip a beat. :)

Amen - and my shippers (K, M, & S ) agree!!!!

Now, now... they pulled out a song that they had never performed on tour before.
That's what the folks around here BEG for on a daily basis.

So... no one's allowed to complain about whether or not it actually sounded any good. ;)

Because Brian Wilson wrote it for them. Back then, Dennis would bring Brian a bag of cheeseburgers and he would write a song. At least that's how the story I heard/read somewhere goes.

Honey - I'd gladly write you a song for that!

Yes, I'll miss those hot ass boots for the rest of my life.

Thats an awful reason.
