Lefty or Righty?
are you left-handed or righthanded?
|
I'm a lefty, clearly in my right mind.
|
BTW... I couldn't remember what you call it when you can write with both.. I'm sure some bright spark will be along in a sec with the answer...
|
With the exception of playing instruments, my left hand is practically a useless appendage. A three year old can write better, than I can with my left hand!
|
I write with my right hand, but I pick up stuff, etc. with my left. My right wrist is wayyyy weaker than my left and tires out easily. I wonder if I wasn't "supposed" to have been left handed sometimes. I've read many times that many more babies than most would think are born left handed, but routine teaching by routinely right-handed parents teaches a tendency to use the right hand, even if the left is the child's dominant.
Or something. |

I almost went with option number 4, but I was born right-handed. ;)

Ambidextrous(sp).
edit -   I'm blaming the Ledge being so slow, for my late response! |
Ah... yes....Ambidextrous... I knew it was ambi-something! Couldn't be bothered to look it up either... hehe. Thanks guys!
|
Amberdextrous. I use neither very well.

I'm right. Always  |
I'm right handed but can use my left a lot more now than before i started in dentistry.
|
I'm right-handed, though for drumming I, of course, use both quite well - but it was BITCH getting the left hand to catch up to and be as good as the right hand.
I still can't write with my left hand well...so for all intents and purposes I'm a righty. |
These 'polls' are just getting too bizarre. What's your favourite colour must be due in a day or so!

 :wavey: In reality, I am right handed and good with my left. For instance, I shoot baskets better left handed and I can shoot pool left handed. Don't write that well, though. Even though I used to practice a lot as a kid. Obviously, right handed kids are dumb. |

Edited to add: In fact... this is my first ever poll! Yay! |
i'm a righty, but i'm pretty good with my left hand because of violin and percussion.
|
Left handed but have to use chop sticks with the right hand !

Anyway, I can't move my hands separate from each other. I mean, they can't really do two different things at one time. I mean, shooting a basket or pool is two hands directed at one motion. And then if I tried to get my legs involved doing even more things...well, I have no doubt disaster would ensue. Swear to god, that's why I had to quit band in highschool. Because you had to march, and I couldn't play and march. It's quite extroadinary considering my otherwise very high level of coordination. I'm like an idiot savant. Or just an idiot. Whatever, you should see me try to drum. Tragic. Actually me even trying to do the Gold n Braid dance is tragic. That guy reminded me, I can use chopsticks left, too. |

My ego does the same thing. It's quite exciting. |

I must say, it depends on what I'm doing.
I write right handed. However, I bat switch. :p |

I'm right handed but when I was in college, one of my drawing professors wanted to challenge me and had me do an in-class assignment with my left hand. I did very well and really liked the difference in my drawing style using my left hand.

Just done a quick check here and the majority of engineers here are left handed - 8 out of 11. |

I'm trying to take it slower now. And I'm looking for some drums to buy as my left hand becomes weaker and weaker the longer I don't play. |

So you just use it to lift beers and drive, basically? I was really into that T-Rex image. sigh. |

Lefty pride! I can use my right hand for anything if I need to, though, so I guess that makes me ambidextrous?
