Cheesecake

o gosh. cheesecake. yum.

i had to choose cheesecake, even though i do eat cheese more often. cheesecake is just.. so good. so very, very good.

Is this an 'Official' Poll?

I love cheese. I could give up cake or cheesecake for the rest of my life. But cheese? NEVER!

I might as well throw an editorial here - I don't get all the big shlemiel with cheesecake. It's not that good. It's pretty good, but...I like both cake and cheese better.

It's better than that, it's important!

I chose cheese because the others I could give up but cheese is just too important to me.

Definitely CHEESE. I am not a big fan of the cake stuff. I do have to say I've never had cheesecake though. :eek:

Me, too! I could give up meat(maybe?), as long as I still had cheese. I just had some Hot Pepper Cheese.

Well you know me guys, I could never post anything trivial and non-important (see my tree thread for proof).

And I agree Paula, I love cheese way too much. The others are good but cheese is better.

Though I was ruined in New York City and have not been able to find a truly truly delicious cheesecake elsewhere.

There is nothing, I say NOTHING above cheese.

I love cheese. I like cake, but I hate cheesecake. Nasty.

I hate cream cheese. I can only dig certain types of cheese (ie Colby/Colby Jack & Swiss thx). And I dig cake, sure.

But damn if cheesecake doesn't make me forget all of that. <3

I couldn't have said it better myself. And the second thing I would have said was "cheese, cheese, and more cheese!". Again, after cake. German Chocolate Cake, preferably, but most cakes will do. Obviously I eat cheese much more often, but that doesn't make it more special, necessarily. :woohoo:

Also, shout out to GypsySorcerer, the only other person I've ever heard say that they don't like cheesecake. I kinda like it now, but not as a favorite, and I didn't like it for so long. I still don't see what the big deal is. :laugh:

Please tell me you dont eat that nasty Brie stuff?:laugh:

French Cheese (particularly Brie) is the best thing in the world ever! How can you not like that?

I adore cheescake. Especially the entemins (spelling) kind.

Unless one is trying to lose weight. :o

And, if that is the case, then all answers SHOULD be:

I'll eat ANY cheese. Cheese is my big problem. (see chiliD's post:laugh: )

But dutch cheeses are my faves. Especially the old ones. The older the better. Dutch farmercheese. OLD. wow.

I voted for cheese, and I too think cheesecake is overrated.

Edam is my fave. Especially since I visited a "cheese factory" in that town back in '67.

I picked cheese.

cheese burger, cheesecake, macaroni and cheese, cheese pie, cheese dip, chuck e cheese (o.k. that may be pushing it) cheese rolls, cheese pizza. I love it all.

and to think. Up until about 5 years ago I hated cheese :shocked:

I used to loooooooooooooovve cheesecake. Until about 15 years ago I made a jello no-back cheesecake and ate the entire thing in one night :shocked: I haven't eaten cheesecake since :lol:

OMG, we are total twins today. I hated cheese up until around the end of 2006 :wavey:

This will really surprise some of you - but I'm very picky about cheese :laugh: But the kinds I like I do really enjoy, though not as much as cheesecake. Or plain cake.

Sometimes even the smell of cheese makes me feel ill. I was sick for days after eating some motzerella (sp?) a few weeks ago. I don't like cheese on anything but crackers or on its own. Bree is about is extravagent as I can handle :laugh:

wow. are you lactose intolerant? mozzarella is one of my favorites. in fact, i should've gotten some when i was at the store earlier. damn.

There are times when I think I am. Milk often blocks up my sinuses, and too much cheese give me quite bad headaches - that could mean Im lactose intolerant :shrug:
