Gum.
 

I love gum. I always have some on me, many times I have more than one variety on me. For example - in my bag right now I have Strike Spearmint, Bubble Yum Sugarless Bubble Gum and Orbit Lemon Lime.

I just ordered bulk gum online today - felt a little stupid, but I figure it'll save me money in the long run.

I bulk ordered Bubble Yum Sugarless regular and peppermint. Yum. When I am visiting my sister I always make her take me to Sam's Club so I can bulk buy gum....

I can't live without my gum.

So any other gum fans out there?

i always chew orbit, i think? yes. it's so strong and delicious. i used to chew extra every day in middle school & hs, but i don't anymore. it's too sweet for me.

I haven't had gum since they took it out of trading cards. :rolleyes:

I love gum! As a kid I always had the super sugary crap. Bubblicious, bubble yum, big league chew, etc. Now I chew big red, juicy fruit, and cinnamon orbit. Although on occasion I still crave a handful of grape big league chew. :lol:

S'what I do. :thumbsup: Seriously... I really don't like gum. Especially if it's abc gum that someone's left on the side of a chair, or under a desk, and it gets stuck to my pants.

Well you're not supposed to chew that kind. :p

Chewing gum always makes me feel hungry!

I also used to be an Extra fan, I can't chew it anymore, it doesn't last long enough for my tastes.

I do like Orbit, but for minty gums Strike has been way better...I love it!! It lasts a really long time.

Also - I always have to have two pieces of gum...one is just not enough (unless it's the previously mentioned Bubble Yum.)

Oh man, I used to love those sugary gums...! Now I'll have some bubble tape or SuperBlow once in a great while for nostalgia purposes.

Which reminds me, I haven't had grape gum in a long long time, and lately I've been craving it.

i love & chew gum all the time, i also keep several different kinds on me at all times & i am known to go thru a pack rather quickly, by spitting out a piece & getting a new one right after the flavor fades, i hate flavorless gum~

I guess that's what I've been doing wrong all ths time. :distress: Whatever would I do without my Ledgeducation?

fun gum fact, one of my professors invented the original Trident gum...it was called trident because it had three enzymes in it to aide in digestion (todays version doesnt have them, but they kept the name) He was a grad student at the time and didnt get a patent so the professor he was working under got the credit for it!

I enjoy Trident from time to time...love the original and the Orange one - I think it's called Tropical something or other...

Usually, I don't like fruity sweet gums.. just mint. But this Trident? It's amazing. It smells really good in my purse and desk drawer. Tastes great.

That's the one I meant!! Tropical Twist. Couldn't remember the name...but I'm with ya, I normally don't like fruity gums..but that one rocks.

I usually get tired of the fruity gums - as mentioned in my first post, I bought Orbit lemon lime gum in bulk, three packs in I'm sick to death of it...I probably should have gone with Trident :lol:

I usually have to be in the mood to chew gum, but I do enjoy it every so often. Usually I'll get in a mood and then I buy one of those bulk packs of Extra bubble gum, and have two sticks a day (sometimes more). I have that apple Extra right now, but I haven't had any in a while.

Big gum fan here. Either Eclipse Spearmint(the GREEN pack, the blue Eclipse SUCKS in comparison!!!!), or Wrigley's Winterfresh(the blue one).

The Wrigley's Winterfresh is what my sister and I refer to as "ben gay" gum. It tastes sort of like Ben Gay smells...if I'm thinking of the right gum.

another thing for which I am a whore. in fact, I have several people who liken me to Britney Spears in this aspect. I chew gum all the time. like, all the time. and I smack it too. I know, I'm sorry...I can't help it. my mom's bitched at me for ruining several home movies and pictures because of my gum. I don't like bubble gum though because I eat it...what is it about that...I can't help but swallow it. I'm more of a Winterfresh, Dentyne kinda guy.

I do blow bubbles a lot...but I don't smack...nor pop my gum. My mom pops her gum and it makes me want to strike her repeatedly.

well, I don't actually like slober all over myself or anything, but I'm not exactly quiet and I don't notice it. and I hate smacking...hate it.

I pop mine - annoying I know, but it keeps me entertained. I also tend to play with my gum, like winding it around my finger. :laugh: :o

I'm not sure if I'm annoyed by the popping or the fact that it's my mother doing the popping :laugh: So you might be ok ;) I still don't pop my gum..

BUT when I'm home alone, I do sometimes wind it around my finger :o

I think it kind of smells like Skoal. And while chewing is REPULSIVE, I still like my Winterfresh gum!

another gum smacker/poper/cracker (??) here. i can get quite violent with it.

i am constantly chewing gum, mostly when i can't smoke. i think i have an oral fixation. :p i'm also always running out of gum, so i will most likely be that annoying stranger who will approach you for a piece.

the kinds i like most are the trident original flavour, anything cinnamon, and if i'm feeling silly, watermelon. the watermelon ones tend to lose their flavour fast tho.

there also used to be this great gatorade flavoured gum years ago, but i guess they discontinued it. it was quite sour, but i loved it. i tried the green apple altoid gum, thinking it would be similar, and i almost died. that kind of sour can't be legal!

i'm a gum popper. and i'm probably the most annoying kind of gum popper... the repetitive, see-how-loud-they-can-get popper. it's kind of like a nervous tic, i guess, because i do it mostly when i'm tense (which is almost always).

i don't like little pops, either. i like those high-powered SNAPs you can only get from little bubbles popped against teeth. heh.. i remember my grandma teaching me how to blow bubbles..and bubbles inside bubbles.. and having loud-popping contests when i was little. she'd always have a bunch of dubble bubble around, and we'd cram as many pieces as would fit into our mouths while watching baseball games on tv. i miss those days with all my being.

I love gum. I ALWAYS have gum in my mouth. always. welllll....okay...maybe not always :laugh: but I buy the economy size packs of gum. Mostly sugar-free, but I don't care what brand. i think eclipse just came out with a cute little container that holds 60 peices. i saw it at the gas station and snagged it. it had a little flip top and everything. When i don't have time to brush, sugar-free gum is the way to go. it gets the salivary flow going and helps cleanse the teeth. o.k...nevermind. i like gum :laugh:

Winterfresh....End of Story.

So I bought a new gum flavor the other day - just got around to trying. It's Orbit Mint Mojito.

I do NOT recomend it. It's not good.

It sort of tasted like some skanky bottled/canned tea...it's not at all minty - it's just weird.

hmmm...my girlfriend was just telling me yesterday how much she loved it! ha!

Orbit is my gum of choice, I have been on a sweetmint kick for a while now, but now I am really curious to see if the mint mojito one sucks or not!

Well I gave it to our receptionist and she LOVED it. Like more than a person should love a gum...she made a big production of how good she thought it was. :laugh:

So to each their own...I found it replulsive but apparently there are at least two people in the world who love it :p

Orbit is great stuff~~love the spearmint and raspberry mint varieties
