What Is Your Favorite Stevie Era????

So, of those eras, which is your fave of Stevie's????

Right now, for me, for whatever reason or another, I am a fan of the late 80's. The big everything, AND for some reason I am very fond of the very smooth glossy sound of OSOTM.....

What About You?

Musicman408 02-18-2007 06:16 PM

I'm kind of getting into TISL at the moment now yall.

Im going for early days stevie. Ultimate stevie for me is rhiannon rosebud. Er. Wait-was that from 79? I hope not. Second would be mirage/wild heart then donut head stevie

LikeAWillow 02-18-2007 07:41 PM

I went with early Stevie but it was a tough call for me. To be honest, I absolutely love all eras of Stevie right up until 1986...and then my fandom slips away.

Rosebud = 1976, yo.

Rock A Little Era!

I love the care-free, balls-to-the-wall, Stevie.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I like BD/WH/Mirage Stevie. On top of her game, in the prime of her career. What is rehearsed and repeated these days was fresh and exciting then. Not to mention she was insanely gorgeous at the time.

Rock a Little all the way! Her songs, her look, her voice...everything!!!

Rickypt 02-18-2007 09:20 PM

I'm not sure I agree with the groupings. My era would be BD/Mirage/WH but those fall into to different sections in this poll. So I'm not voting....

Villavic 02-18-2007 09:30 PM

Interesting poll. I voted 1979-1981, but actually is Tusk-BD-Mirage era.

BlackWidow 02-18-2007 10:04 PM

79-83.....

foxyluva 02-19-2007 12:55 AM

Voice - 1994
Look - Early 80s
Album - TISL

Johnny Stew 02-19-2007 01:00 AM

Can I pick all of 'em? :)

Dreamz19 02-19-2007 02:52 AM

This is tough. Hummm.....I am gonna go with the Beginning days Stevie. I am fascinated with that era overall since I like a lot of music and movies from that decade. And I love her music from that era the most. If I had to choose another era it would be The Dance because when I saw her perform "Sliver Springs" she pretty much had me hooked and I had no idea who she was at the time.

I pretty much like most of the Stevie eras but the Rock a Little era and the End of Mac era would be my least favorite.

BombaySapphire3 02-19-2007 02:59 AM

I picked 79-81 but basically everything up until the Wild Heart was great..it was only then that things began to fall apart..or at least after that it began to show.

JazmenFlowers 02-19-2007 09:17 AM

hard to pick. but I gotsta go with RAL era.

chiliD 02-19-2007 12:23 PM

Well, everything "Pre-Bella Donna".

Musicman408 02-19-2007 06:15 PM

Really feeling more modern Stevie at the moment too.

Sahara 02-20-2007 06:52 PM

That's a very hard question. I've always been a late 80s loyalist. But 1995-1999 was pretty special too, she was on top form. I'm going to say late 80s.

Yeah, 80's were a good time.

Musicman408 02-23-2007 08:10 PM

Kind of surprised NOOOOOOObody chose Street Angel and Timespace era.....

jannieC 02-23-2007 08:23 PM

I went to my first Stevie concert during the RAL era- so that time period always holds a special place for me.

Kris10723 02-24-2007 12:58 AM

I chose Tusk and Bella Donna era just beacuse I love her songs on Tusk so much. I think out of all the FM albums, these are my favorites on one album. And Bella Donna was the first CD I ever bought when I was in 7th grade after getting The Dance for christmas because I begged for it. It was quickly followed by the Practical Magic soundtrack, Enchanted set and then every other CD of hers and FM. I think that The Dance would have to be my second choice because Silver Springs was the song that really got me into both Stevie and FM.
