Technically, Cancers don't have lots of personalities, just lots of moods. Same thing? I dunno. Lots of people say geminis are "two faced" which is kind of a different concept, too.

I do know I like geminis a lot, which statement I hope will get me out of threadjack jail.

I can basically only successfully date Scorpios. :shrug: My good friend is one, too, but they are a bit more problematic for me as girlfriends. I prefer geminis as girlfriends (they get my jokes, and are very clever themselves and very easy going), and pisceses (so abstractly silly, like me, and easygoing again).

I can also date Cancers somewhat successfully, but of course at some point it always comes down to who has the biggest, most important problem, who's not giving the other enough attention, blah blergh blah. I have to say that Cancer men are often very lovely and nice and kind.
And as much as I love gemini girls, I would never, ever, ever, ever, date a gemini boy. Too fey, too cheaty/flirty, not "manly" enough.

I get along with Taurii chicks for awhile, but then, no. And all the Taurii men I've dated (2) were hella, hella, hella boring but pretty tasty sackwise.
I guess Paula is my longest running Taurus. :laugh: Something I've noticed about Taurus chicks that I know is that they often prefer the company of men. Or, I dunno, it's like...I dunno. :confused: I have no earth signs in my chart at all, so I don't usually have earth sign friends. They'd be the ones who roll their eyes at me. I mean, more than others. :laugh: I guess they're too grounded for me, and I'm too flighty for them? All the ones I know here are hella funny, though. :woohoo:

i dated a scorpio once and he was a complete asshole. Like- the entire asshole.

Being that I'm a cancer, I'm way too moody. Nobody ever lasts more than a few weeks with me. ;) Sometimes I suspect all cancers are actually just bipolar, but given a nicer 'title'. :rolleyes:

hehehe. No, she's cool. Literally. Not very emotional. Very nice and smart and successful and hardworking and flirty. She's just really even tempered. I've never seen her cry (once?) or anything else. I've seen her get mad, but it takes a lot. Never seen any other emotions. You know poker face?
Heck, that's why we get along! She's very logical, which I like. And she laughs at my jokes, and others', even if she doesn't make many herself.
She can be two faced, though, she'll lie. And she'll express one thing to a person, and be nice and whatever, but behind their back talk smack. Which isn't so much a flaw as a good technique for getting along with people. I, myself am rarely capable of it, but it seems like a good idea. I mean, you should try to be nice to people's faces, and if your smack talk doesn't get back to them, then is anybody really being hurt? Probably not. I just can't do that myself because It's hard for me to express emotions I don't feel, or rather, hard to hold back emotions I do feel. Even if I don't say it, it's all over my face.

I have to say, in all honesty, I think geminis are awesome. :shrug:

I srsly always thought I inherited the moodiness from my mom, but then I figured...she's no cancer. So, we have very moody genes in the family already and ON TOP OF THAT I am blessed with being a cancer. Just my luck!

That's what kind of sucks about my life, is that I like geminis and scorpios best, and they never really get along with each other. :laugh: They're not supposed to, but, throw me a bone for chrissakes! My best friend the gemini one always goes ":rolleyes: Yeah, he/she is a scorpio, so of course blah blah insert disparaging comment" :laugh:
My other best friend the scorpio never says anything bad about anyone, so I have no story with that...
Except I will hand it to them both, no one would ever know if either one of them didn't like them. I mean, they're both nice to everyone on the face. One of them actually is that nice for real, the other is almost that nice. :p

No, actually that may not be true. For instance, I know Carrie has moon in Taurus, and also I've never seen her really be mad or mean to people here. Sometimes, almost, but for the most part, not. So I imagine that her moodiness takes on a more brooding, inside quality, rather than an outwardly vocal and snappish quality.
Vanessa - I have no idea. You don't seem very moody, but maybe you just don't post then. :shrug: I mean, if you say you are, I believe you. :p

I'm a kind of moody where I hardly ever feel bad for long periods of time, or brood, but my outside reactions to stimuli sway with the wind, and change really fast. I like to blame my moon in Sag., my moods are very outward, apparent, vocal, and influenced by others for the most part. Sometimes I pout. But my moods are so fast. I can be happy and angry within seconds of each other.

Oh, and my mom is super moody, too, but she's a Sag, not a Cancer. Also her main mood was mad. Are these perhaps cases of nature and nurture? :laugh:

Well, my biological mom is a Sagittarius, but I don't know her all that well. My dad always told me I got my moodiness from her so... my mom was an Aquarius.

And I just realized my previous post makes no sense whatsoever upon reading at again, but ah well, you know what I meant anyway. It's effin' 4 am here...

yeah, that's pretty much true. i only let people see me when i'm upset if i know them really well, but i don't let most people get to know me that well. if that makes sense. so most of the time i am very introverted if i'm upset. i make snarky comments, but i don't usually show all my cards (cue talk to me heeyuh!). etc. plus i make snarky comments anyway. :laugh:

My posts don't usually reflect my moods. I save those for the three-dimensional people.

I'm more of the broody, inside quality variety also, but people close to me often fall victim to my real personality. ;) It's a good thing I'm fairly loveable aside from that, I'm easily forgiven. :p

I'd explain, but I'm afraid it would turn into a bigger disaster than the bread/toast debate. :lol:

The worst thing is when someone stays mad at me. And I'm like "you're still mad about that? That was five minutes ago! I didn't even mean it! I apologized! Get over it! I'm happy and fun, now! Geez!" :laugh: :distress:

Wow, freaky. Me too. I lash out, give it 3 seconds to realize 'damnit, I don't want to start anything because of my stupid moodiness', so I flash a quick smile, pretending I was completely joking. And usually they buy it. Phew, another drama fest prevented and I'm happy!

It's kinda bad, because most other people it takes them longer to get mad, and then they stay mad for longer. So they're totally out of sync with us. :laugh:

really, though, I don't think most people are fooled, they are just willing to let it go. Unless you don't make the face that goes along with it, I always make the face.

Actually, I'm sure we're not that bad, overall. For instance, we may flash on people, but don't you know a bunch of other people who are way worse overall? Like, they don't flash on anyone, but may be really, really lame in other ways. Like they might not care about their friends, or stab someone in the back, or steal things, or...you see what I'm saying? The bad part is that other bad things people do aren't as obvious, whereas suddenly getting mad for "no" reason is obvious.
Someone could seem like the nicest person in the world, and be totally sneaky and bad and underhanded. :shrug: I just think, hey, at least all my bad cards are on the table. It only gets better from here. Whereas with a lot of people, you find out they are way worse than you thought they were.

Gemini here. Two-faced? Nope, not me. But two personalities? Sure. I don't know that I'm a typical Gemini though. Although I've been told by those that know astrology much better than I that I am. Amber, you seem to know a lot about it - give me some typical Gemini qualities and I'll let you all know if they apply to me.

My best friend is also a Gemini but is much different from me. She is much more assertive, somewhat bossy, but I'm really laid back and it doesn't bother me at all.

agreed, and...well..:lol: agreed!! I'm usually the type to talk smack to the actual person I'm having a problem with. I mean, don't get me wrong, there are people at work I talk about etc, but I make it known to them personally how I feel, and what problems I have with them. It just makes it easier. I've never EVER been able to fake like someone. If I don't, I just don't. Although, i don't like it so much when people don't like me, ya know? there are some people who don't give a **** who likes them. I want the world to like me even if I don't like the world :laugh:
