That's 2 days before Deb's birthday - so I know what she will be getting as a present (Besides seeing Keith Urban possibly the same week in July)

I thought I heard that the series is ending soon. Is that true?

Harry Potter Day is the ONLY day I will actually volunteer to work until 4AM on (I work part-time at Borders)- for Book Six, I was in charge of a table where I forced kids to cram as many Bertie Botts beans in their mouths as I could, and whoever could show me they'd eaten all of them, Survivor-style, would win a poster. I got like sixty kids to stuff themselves with vomit jelly beans for a poster.

Anyways, the point is- I don't mind working on that night because then I get to go home with MY book. Last time I didn't go to sleep- I just stayed up and read it to the end- I think I crashed by about noon.

I'm going to go pre-order it from the store...then I will be in line at midnight to get my copy..I am beyond excited :blob1: :blob2:

Deluxe edition

For $5 bucks more they have a deluxe edition, but it didn't describe what the differences were. Anyone know?

Nixxxed 02-01-2007 04:15 PM

Do naked pics of Daniel Radcliffe come with each copy?

Wild_Heart03 02-01-2007 05:40 PM

I was so excited when I saw the email from Amazon in my inbox after I got home. I'm tempted to preorder, but when I preordered HBP I went to Wal-Mart at midnight out of curiosity, and they had tons of copies just sitting around.

I will not preorder online because I want my book WHEN it comes out - not a week later....as has been my experience with pre-ordering.

So none of that - but usually Borders or BN will have a pay $5 now and guarantee your copy...that I will do....and it's one time I am pleased as punch to deal with a huge line of people and crowds.

Have read the first one and hated it. I am probably an alien freak huh? But so glad you all get to have another book and hope you love it and it meets all expectations! I know how I love it when I find a great treasure of a book to cherish

Sasja

you hated it? yep, you're an alien freak. :D just kidding. why did you hate it?

I guess the writing style turned me off mainly, and the story wasn't too interesting to me... But mainly her style, I think. So sorry ~ducks~

I usually don't say anything though, since I know I am far in the minority. And I am fine with that and meant it when I said I am happy for the many that DO like the books.

oh, i wasn't trying to be an asshole ... it's fine that you don't like her. i was honestly curious about why. thanks for your answer. :)

sasja 02-01-2007 07:23 PM

Oh I know :D
It's just usually people get very upset at my most unpopular opinion so I have learned to not step on toes about that, but, I know yours was a truly interested question and thanks for asking

yeah, people get reeeeally emotional when it comes to HP, LOTR, etc. anything that is uber popular. it's not easy to be on the opposite side of that fence.
