New CD Artwork news!!! And a Calendar!

As posted on another board, Mr. Worthington has shot a bunch of new photos of La Nicks for Reflections and is putting together a calendar....

danax6 01-31-2007 03:19 PM

Nice. If that's true, I am probably more excited about the new pics than I am about the CD/DVD itself.

greatdarkwing 01-31-2007 03:21 PM

I dont know the rules as regards to posting about other boards or even quoting from other boards, so I am just going to refer that this news was posted somewhere else via someone who talked directly to Mr. Worthington...This is very exciting, though.

I don't see anything wrong with saying where you read it (Seven Wonders, FM Legacy, Fleetwood Mac-UK, etc.), but it's not our policy to post links back to other message boards because of some in-fighting and feuds (not between the site-owners or moderators, mind you) that occured a few years back.

Thanks for the clarification, Johnny :wavey: . I read it on the Seven Wonders Board....Hope this helps everyone.

^ Well, thank God you told us where you got the info, and that you read it there first. We never would have found out otherwise. Hopefully Brian won't ask that you pay him royalties.

Fabulous news, btw. :D

Zing!

Well, I also read there the CD/DVD set will have an 18 page booklet filled with new pictures. Be still my heart.

mikeschmike 01-31-2007 04:42 PM

I'm starting to get excited. Less then two months to go for the CD/DVD, the pregame show on Sunday, the Vegas shows in March(which is a definite "no" for me:distress: ) and the summer tour. I wonder if she'll do any talkshow/morning show appearances?

chiffon wedgies are the worst!

from what I hear, Herbie's been working on this for some time. it's apparently, a foldout layout type thing.

ok, I didn't describe that right...

Not really replying to your comment, I just noticed that "Lily Girl" is on your Recently Played list.

Is it a favorite of yours? I know a few people have said that they really love it, but I think it's... well, to put it nicely... pretty unbearable. In fact, I've only been able to listen to it in its entirety about twice.

There are a few lines that are salvageable, but that's it.

Now that I've been dethroned, I might as well confess my deep distate for the 'Street Angel' era outtake of "If You Were My Love," too. :o

HejiraNYC 01-31-2007 11:45 PM

Must. keep. Chris. Nicks. away. from. this.

I actually really like the vocals of this version - I just hate the 'beachy' music...

Yeah, the "tropical" sound of the production is the track's biggest detriment, but Stevie doesn't even sound like she wants to be singing it.
She probably hated what Glyn Johns was doing to her beautiful song. I know I did!

there's no way it took five minutes to copy and paste the lucky charms logo and type "gold dust tour 2005" on it.

Copying and pasting takes time when someone has to show you how to do it!

Of course it took five minutes... and that includes the time he spent rolling and lighting up a doobie.

ahhh. you had to pull that one out. I'm not very fond of it, but since I love this song SO much, I can't not like it.

If Stevie were to do any daytime talk show promo, it would be the View. Rosie is a HUGE fan of Stevie!

No. Herbert Worthington has shot some Stevie photos and hopefully he will make a calendar with them for next year.
