I'm super tired, but I will try to post something really quick! OMG!!!!! HE DID EFFING SHUT US DOWN PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GERALD OMG!!!!!

He also did Steal Your Heart Away after hearing a bunch of us scream it out a few times. OMG!!!!!!

DYING PEOPLE....SHUT US FRICKIN' DOWN!! I tried to record some of it, but my camera screwed up...I am so pi$$ed!!!!

Anyway, no pics from me...camera Nazis everywhere.

Pattie...Cowgirl Hat was there....and she got dissed by Lindsey. Heh.

Going to bed...about to pass out.

If anything will drag Gerald to the States it's that song.

Austin and Shut Us Down. I'm crying here and I'm not lying. I'm so happy for you who were there, Christy, Livia. That song should have been on his setlist from the beginning. It brings together everything he wants to "say" right now.

O hell, I'm not going to the states, but someone should force the friggin dude to London!

Didn't you hear, Ger? He's doing Paradiso and 013 in June. ;)

Christy, was cowgirl hat in the front row again? Was Kristen there? Where are you Christy, at home?

yes, and an afterparty in Doornroosje. You are developping towards a LBfan-corckteaser, nasty girl!;)

So I take it this girl in the cowboy hat is a fixture at these things? I thought she was a Ledgie, but I wasn't sure which one. I wasn't gonna say anything.

She was a few rows in front of Andrew and I, and went up to the stage during I'm So Afraid. Lindsey just kind of ignored her, and an usher came up and asked her to go back to her seat.

She was crying and hugging some woman during Go Your Own Way, and after that, she and her friends seemed to have disappeared...

Yep, her MO is to go up to the stage during ISA. I am glad that she was told to go back to her seat.

Very cool! I like that he's adding new stuff! Hope someone recorded it!

I gotta run, but all i can say is WHOLLY ****!!!!?!?!?!?! Blew me and everyone else completely away.

My girl got some great pics, and will post later.

Como se dice...........THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????

Hey y'all!! Shelly and I are back in Dallas...still haven't slept yet. I think I'm still riding off of the high of that FANTASTIC show!!! (and of course my picture with THE MAN) :D I just wanted tell all of you that I met last night...you made my pre-birthday celebration such a memorable one!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Y'all are AWESOME people!

SHUT US DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Pattie

Cowgirl hat was sitting in the row behind Livia on the left side...not front row, but close enough. I'm still in Austin right now...leaving for Houston at 1PM. I'm meeting a friend (Fellow Justin Guarini fan) in Houston, but I'm in the 2nd row center...so any Ledgies, come find me!!

Kristin was there.

I forgot to say this in my first post, but to all the Ledgies and non-Ledgies, but still amazingly cool people.....it was wonderful to meet you all and hang out. I had a friggin' BLAST!!

I'm glad you guys had such a great time.

Did Lindsey play the unedited version of Shut Us Down?

I cant wait till Tulsa now!!!!!:blob2:

Yes! This is a very important detail. Christy?

Furthermore, did he play the video clip version where there's eight bars more to the Elizabethtown version?

wow christy! fantastic! :]

when in the set did he do SUD and SYHA? were they replacements for other songs or in addition? i'm curious this cowboy chick - someone take a pic! there was one in santa barbara...they sat her ass down then too.

have a blast in houston! :D

It's the same gal that was in Santa Barbara.......

I'm glad to hear that Ray is with him again.

I was afraid to go up for GYOW after Cowgirl got dissed and was told to go back to her seat. But I waited until the end of the song, when most of the crowd was standing and the front row people were bellied up to the stage. I was the first person on my side to go up, I played his guitar, and then the people from the row behind me came up and did the same. :D We stayed there until the end of the show. I kept yelling for "Steal Your Heart Away."

I don't think anyone's mentioned it in this thread yet, but we also got "Save Me a Place." So, between that and SYHA, I was one happy girl! I'd been avoiding the set list threads, and didn't realize until Christy mentioned it later how lucky we were to get "Shut Us Down" too.

Billo, how'd the presentation go on Friday morning? It was great meeting you and all the other Ledgies! I had a little bit of a hangover yesterday...I'd planned on going to see K-tel Hit Machine last night, but the couch won instead!

How did you like it, Livia?

It was like LB was playing in my living room! "Go Insane" was a highlight for me as well, and "Holiday Road" was a lot of fun.

I'd never been to that venue before, it's smaller than I expected - and there was hardly anyone in the balcony, which was disappointing, I thought it would be sold-out. The crowd was great, respectfully quiet in all the right places. Someone yelled out "Frozen Love" at the beginning of the show.

wow...glad to hear he's finally adding to the setlist. glad you all had a great time! i'd like to see him once more before he wraps this up so i hope he'll head to philadelphia

This show was amazing! The venue was small, perfect for this intimate performance. Highlights for me were "Save Me A Place" (just gorgeous), "Shut Us Down" and "Go Insane". "Tusk" was a blast and had most of us on our feet! He looked and sounded awesome and the band was tight -- it really was a great show.

We had amazing seats. Kristin sat next to me for the majority of the show and chatted with Livia and I quite a bit. She's a gorgeous woman and very sweet.

It was especially nice to meet the fellow Ledgies who showed up at the Hole In The Wall...thanks guys (and ladies) for being so much fun. It was a blast!

Linsdey puts on a hell of a show. I was so glad that I got to see one!

:blob2:  :blob2: How dare she write on his jeans!!!

yes please :D

Red Rover - no flash - and the camera nazis still caught me. :p

Well.....It's the long version including extra bars. It's gorgeous and a little slowed down, sung from the soles of his boots and a frikkin awesome subtle ending. Man what a gem. Christy will put in up very soon.

It really was gorgeous!

OK, I was too long winded in talking about Fort Worth so I will avoid that here. AUSTIN KICKED ASS!! I wanted to post my first ever picture with Lindsey. I know I look like a complete idiot  but I'm a happy idiot! :D

I can't say enough nice things about him. He's so gracious and sweet to his fans. He was comforting to me...I was a little shakey...it was cold and I was freaking out! Got to tell him how wonderful his show was.

I appreciate y'all who took shots of me and Lindsey as well. I've posted one of those up here too!!

I have to say it again...I enjoyed meeting y'all so much!!

awww...I enjoy reading about every little aspect of a show...oh well! Thanks for posting the pics...Lindsey is a sweetheart for sure...glad you experienced that and have pics of you both.

I don't know, writing on his jeans seems like an invasion of his privacy and personal space in the same way groping his thighs or wrists while he's trying to play is.

Thanks, y'all, for the reviews- I'm glad you guys got to see some of these "new" songs. I hope he comes back to Chicago.

Thankfully Lindsey does have the option of pulling away...with regard to writing on his clothes, hopefully they weren't his favorite pair.

:blob2: Thanks!

Here's some more pics from the Austin show - sorry I'm so late getting them here! Two more to follow in next post.

It was fantastic meeting everyone in The LB Posse! You guys were a blast to shoot the **** with pre and post show. And I still would love to post thoughts on the show, but will have to wait for more time. Safe to say, I'm NEVER missing another LB show within a 100 miles of me....and then some! More later keeeds.

Cool!!
