Klonopin is bad for you
I hope you brought some coffee along...
|
ok, that is one of my favorite interviews because she is soooo not having any of that ****. i love when they try to get her to do the "mtv asia" bit. so funny and painful ... stevie can be scary. i would not have wanted to be that interviewer.
|
Klonopin not bad, abusing Klonopin bad for you. ;)
This video is a little painful to watch. And did she say that she articulates her words because she wants to make sure people know everything she's saying?? Stevie?? |
Oh god, that was so awful. I'm glad I didn't see it back in the day- I would have hated her. Poor Stevie.
|
She loks more pissed off than anything else - like she is way over that interview and wants it to be over because the interviewer is being an a$$.
|
I'm Steveh Nicks, and you're watching... MTV AAAAyyysia.

I've never seen this. Zombie Nicks!
However, some of the things she said were hysterical! I'm glad she's better now... rbs |
I would not buy a $60,000 smashed guitar if it belonged to Benjamin Franklin!
|
Cant...stop....watching... although it was a bit painful at parts. i like the crazy look she gives during the mtv asia part

LOL @ her talking about Sara Lee pound cake.
I love this interview though, very awesome. |
Bless her Klonopin heart ... how BORING! And she looks like she wants to kill someone! She wouldn't buy Benjamin Franklin's smashed guitar for $60,000 OR his CLOCK, even!

I didn't think it was boring at all. we get to see inside the psyche of psycho Stevie! |

Her eyes are very, very flat, but i don't think the interview itself is that boring. |

"my two friends.... wendy and lisa..." oh, *cough cough* excuse me while i drop a couple more names... you know, it wasn't so much stevie who blew - it was the interviewer! you could just read stevie's mind... "are you for real??" the question about the new law?? stevie was looking at her like, who are you and who sent you to pretend to be an interviewer? oh, and the excesses answer!! LOVE it. "it's not... new [you big fat twat!]" go stevie! |

Let's not forget that eloquently pronounced line in "One More Big Time Rock And Roll Star":
"Undercover music lover... ohh, undercover music lover... whoawwhaycayepaherrrrrrr!" |
What a great, but slow, interview. I take Klonopin (only .05 daily), but when I was having my worst anxiety attacks, I took a maximum of 3 mg. daily. 3 mg. is enough to turn you into a zombie and that wasn't abusing it. Breathing feels like too much work. Your whole face is expressionless and glazed over, and you sort of get that gaping mouth thing Stevie had going on. Your memory gets dull, and etc., etc. At the time, it was better than panic attacks but I'd never want to go back to that.
So I wonder exactly how much Stevie was taking. To be able to answer those stupid questions as well as she did is amazing. Thinking is a chore when you take Klonopin! Her facial expressions were absolutely priceless. The way she looked at the interviewer like she was a complete idiot had me cracking up several times. |

Wow! Is that the definition of "low energy" or what? Even the 'dumbs up' at the very end is on klonopin time delay. Lots of timespace there...
Is there anyone who isn't "special" and didn't get a letter from her? |
Am I the only one that doesn't find this funny as all? I'm not trying to start crap with anyone, I just don't find it funny that Stevie was on drugs for so long. I feel sorry for her for all the time she lost. Maybe she's at a point where she can laugh about it now, but I seriously doubt that.
|
^^^ i can only speak for myself but i would doubt if any of us were laughing at or making light of her drug problem. and i don't think any of us would be making these kinds of observations if she were still on drugs. because she is so healthy now, we can all look back and just go, man! what was that??? it's almost like relieved laughing, you know what i mean?
(plus, as many of us are crapping on the interviewer!) |
Personally I think she's pretty funny here - I think she mostly just has no respect - at all - for the interviewer.
The interviewer was like, "Do you think it's ridiculous?" and I was watching that and going, c'mon Stevie say it, SAY it, SAAAAAY IIIIIIITT - "I think YOU'RE ridiculous!" bugger - she showed some self-restraint there. :xoxo:   |
LOL, she's hysterical; she was more than simply annoyed by the interviewer, she looked as if she was going to sucker punch that beyotch. How rude was it when that woman corrected Stevie? "Inobtrusive" Stevie said, only to be corrected by the lady in the shadows, "Unobtrusive"....and Stevie just looked over and said "yeah", which I took to be more of a "stfu." Clearly, Stevie was not happy about being asked in the end to say those various lines, and you've got to love how at the end of each sentence, she never smiled and looked right at the camera with that evil look that would turn anyone to stone. While I thought it was a funny interview, it is sad though, you can tell she didn't want to be there and she obviously was not well.
|
I especially like the very end...the look she's giving someone off to the side is priceless, and she pumps her little fists like she wants to punch that girl! hehe
|
You know, I commented on her behaviour towards the interviewer and the interview itself (her 'I'd rather be anywhere else than here talking to you, bitch' behaviour) some time ago, when I think it was David who pointed out that this particular woman (I forgot her name) had interviewed Stevie before and they always seemed to have a good repertoire going on between the two of them. So, really, it had to have been the pills, because come on.
I love this interview only because it gives us great insight into what Stevie was like during that particular time in her life, and I happen to love Stevie through the good and the bad, so it's all good. I can laugh at her, because I also always laugh with her. I'm sure if she saw herself talking about buying a guitar that belonged to Benjamin Franklin, she'd laugh too. |

This is quite an oddity. The interviewer is such a disinterested, flatline douchebag. It's unreal. Even in her Klonopin haze, though, Stevie is hilarious. Particular irony - talking about being sober while prescription tranq'd into absolute oblivion.
