Vegas in March

SO when will Vegas in march be "officially" announced? And when will the diehards be able to buy their tickets? I wanna go especially since its the week of my birthday, but with the 3 xtra Lindsey shows I'm going to I dont know if its going to be possible. Oh to add, I think she'll do the same thing as last time, I.E Tues, Wed Fri&Sat shows.

I'm begging them to hold off with the ticket sales a little while longer. I have to recover from Christmas first.

To Vegas? Nope. It's going to be quite an adventure, or so I've been told. ;)

I'm going, although would love to know what nights people plan to go, i.e., are most people going Fri/Sat or Tues/Wed. I know Curtis is going the whole week. ;)

I will plan on going to two shows, although probably a cheap seat for the second one unless I get an unexpected Xmas check.

What I did in '05 is I went to the Tues, Wed, and Fri shows. I checked out of my hotel friday morning and put my stuff in a friends room at the Alladin for the day. Then After the Friday show I got my stuff and flew home on the redeye. Saved alot of money.

danax6 12-21-2006 12:01 PM

I can't take off work for an entire week, so I plan on being there for 4-5 days/nights/shows. Definitely the last weekend.

GarboSpeaks! 12-21-2006 05:00 PM

FYI kids...when I was talking to hotels for Dec. I mentioned to some that I'd be ther again in March. Several people told me of "March Madness." There will be a trillion things going on in Vegas that month, SOOOOOO, book hotels stat, cause if you procrastinate like I do, you'll be screwed. Well some of you can procrastinate
ANYWAY...I'll be there all week thusfar....not sure I'll do even one show. Just wanna see all these wonderful peeps again. haha.

I wanted to branch out beyond the walls of the Imperial Palace next time, but I might just book another virginal white room.

I refuse to stay at Circus, Circus.

SandyMac 12-21-2006 05:20 PM

I have a gut feeling that I will get money towards a Stevie concert for Christmas, so we will see. I really do want to go.

That is good advice about booking a hotel early. Vegas does seem to be the "convention capital" as well as the gambling capital of the world.

BTFLCHLD 12-21-2006 05:24 PM

So...this hasn't even been announced officialy yet?

I am so not going.

Rickypt 12-21-2006 06:05 PM

^^How did you go from going to so not going in 1/2 a day???

sparky 12-21-2006 06:05 PM

I can't remember if it was the Stevie shows last year or the last Bon Jovi show I saw but I do know one recent time I was there for a show it was NASCAR weekend. It was BJ, no doubt about it. Talk about White Trash Wonderland. There was so much acid washed denim and so many fringed leather jackets I felt like I was seeing Iron Maiden in Conshohocken in 1986.

Thanks for the advice. They really need to hurry up with the official dates so I know how many nights I need to book...and all.

Pollstar shows that Celine isn't playing the Colosseum that week, and Elton starts the next week. I'll bet we're close to confirmation. They aren't going to put tickets on sale during Christmas season.

amber 12-21-2006 07:54 PM

^^^^^
Sweeeeet. Yeah, that would blow if they released tix during Xmas season. What would it blow? Fill in the blank.

Sorry, hope you get some $$$ and get to go the whole week...

I really want to go to the Hard Rock show and Vegas but I can't... at least I'm going to Tampa... I'm still trying for Hard Rock though...that's gunna be an awesome show...I'm gunna be in Ft. Lauderdale at my uncle's place Mon-Fri and I'm gunna take a trip to the HR one night for dinner and such. I'll take pictures of the venue and any signs I see for her...k?

Does anybody have any pictures of ads or anything for the HR show?

BlackWidow 12-23-2006 02:18 AM

I will be there..with bells on..I missed Dec show..too busy!

Rickypt 01-02-2007 02:33 PM

Now that the holidays are over, I would like the Vegas shows to get confirmed please. I'm ready to spend my entire waking life on Ticketmaster again.

Not for another 2-3 weeks, please.

My car better not finally give up on me, if that happens, I'm screwed.

I concur. Plz, plz, wait till I have money. I keep reminding myself to keep money on my credit card for that random suprise morning when tickets will go on sale, with no warning or notice...and I usually find out later than everyone else, so it's a real rush to try to find front row...

Well you are certainly welcome to get in some early practice by trying to score me some front row seats in Florida (hint, hint). I'm seeing some cheap airfares starting to pop up, so it's tempting. The airline business must be slow this year due to the extraordinarily warm winter we are having in the Northeast.

I would love if they would confirm the dates now, but just don't put the tickets on sale for at least a month.

That's cool, at least I can get my plane ticket then.

Isn't it sad that I am less worried about being able to afford a friggin' plane ticket from Amsterdam to Las Vegas than I am about being able to afford tickets? Gah, I fondly remember the days you could go see a show for 20 bucks.

carrie721 01-02-2007 10:20 PM

i keep reading the title of this thread as "vegans in march" ... i keep thinking, "wtf are they going to do in march??"

SandyMac 01-02-2007 10:26 PM

Okay, so this is getting really frustrating that nothing has been posted yet on Ticketmaster. I mean March is not really that far off and if you are trying to sell tickets for a week of shows, you would think Ticketmaster would at least announce the show and state when the tickets will eventually go on sale soon.

I hope there are not any problems with the promoter or with Caesars.
