So, it's not even 10am.
And I'm awake! I don't need to be, but I am. Is this what it feels like to be a morning person?

Turns out to be it was only a semi-truck with bad gears... Gawd, I ucking-fay hate Monday mornings. |
I'm up every weekday at 5:30. Sucks. On the weekends, I'm going to bed around 5! haha.... Monday mornings really do suck.
|
I'm so not a morning person - but I usually get up somewhere between 9 and 10 - I'm luck to not have to use an alarm clock - I don't really have a firm start time at work...
THIS mornign though? I was up at 7. WHY? Becaus the upstairs neighbor got a damn Bassett Hound that will not shut up  |

I am one of those heinous morning people. I'm up during the week at around 6-6:30. On week-ends, I rarely sleep past 8am. Although yesterday I slept until after 9:00 which felt very decadent. I may get up early, but I'm all about a nap in the afternoon if time permits. ;) |

I wouldn't know. I've NEVER been a morning person, even though I have to get up at the butt-crack of dawn (6:30  which REALLY isn't bad...but  ) I didn't go to sleep until 1:00 or so. My brother wanted to watch movies (he is heading back to Michigan today) i am DRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGING. I need a caffeine IV today...... |

^What are you still doing up?
 |
Up before 10 am? Never! I sometimes wonder what it's like to be a morning person. You know, to actually have breakfast instead of brunch/lunch and to see all the early morning news programs on TV, or be in a grocery store before all the fresh bread/meat/vegetables are sold out. I never make it there before 1 pm, damnit.

I hate not getting at least 8 hours of sleep - I totally feel it and am feeling it today. And while I love dogs I do not love dogs who live above me and bark and bark and bark while their owners do absolutely nothing.
If that dog wakes me up tomorrow morning too I may have to strike one of my neighbors  |

Seriously though, I've always been a napper- even when I was YOUNG, you ho. |

I used to dread getting up early, but these days I'm all too used to it, thanks to work. Sometimes I get up as early as 5 am, which blows. |

5 am is ungodly. I guess it's okay if you're going off to work, but the people who get up at the asscrack of dawn on any given day are absolutely insane. |

and yeah, I hate getting up that early. I swear, next time I get a job I'm making sure they don't open before 8 am, or at least specifying I wont' work before that time. Ugh. |

Well I could have taken the Morning HOst position (have to be at work at 4am) - but I got afternoon. My air shift starts at 3, and yeah - no firm start time -they just ask that we work 8 hours a day...:) I usually come in around noonish. |

At 10am this morning, I was 3 hrs into my 12hr work day. I was probably passing medications, charting, and doing assessments (yes, all at the same time).

I'm actually at my best in the middle of the afternoon, but I am not a night person at all. I have trouble sleeping once the sun comes up, so even if I go to bed at 4am, I will wake up if it's light outside, unless the windows are blacked out or something.
Once it's dark out, I start winding down. I make a horrible gay guy, really. It's one of the things that makes going to clubs such a nightmare for me. After about 11pm, I can usually barely hold my eyes open, and if I'm not in a place where I can readily get to sleep, I'll get real cranky, real fast. Unfortunately, with my bf's schedule, he doesn't get home from work until after 8pm, so he isn't ready for bed until at least 11pm. But I think I'm going to have to start going to bed no later than 10pm so I can get up at about 6-6:30am, and he will just have to get over it. |
