So yeah, off the radio. They don't go onsale until Sunday. Someone tell me if they are going, because the show is in Cupertino, and I need a ride. :laugh:
They did the thing where they play parts of three FM songs in a row really speeded up and you have to guess them. It's kind of hard, I had to try twice.

I didn't even know he was playing in Cupertino. I do have a ticket for the Turlock show but I'll probably go to the Cupertino show also.

I know, it's weird. I'm not really lucky otherwise. In fact, quite the opposite.
I didn't even know they were giving tickets away, but I set my alarm for early (9:00) to pretend I was going to do something before I had to get ready for work. My alarm has a radio, and right as I was about to hit snooze, they're all "chance to win liddy B tix, coming up next!!!". Also, I usually never get through because my phone redial sucks, but I got through twice this time. Also I tried to guess three songs for Petty before and couldn't figure them out, this time I got it.

You should try for tix if you can. :shrug: Usually they aren't front row, though, except sometimes - the radio station usually has front row contests close before the show.

The worse part is probably the knowing and not getting through. Will you be going to any other LB shows?

Dude, you are preaching to the choir, I've bitched at that radio station a lot. And I don't know how many times I've simultaneously bitched and requested Angel....:laugh: I think they are a little prejudiced against Mac, cause they play all kinds of other ****, new ****, rare **** from old artists, crappy songs, etc., but always the same...what...7 songs from Mac and Stevie solo combined? I practically have a conniption when they play I Can't Wait every blue moon.

I think its the same story with most commercial radio stations. Stevie gets played so little you would think she was never a solo artist. I hear "Rooms" every now and then, and maybe L&L, but thats about it. I have heard "Talk to Me" once, and "Edge" once. I have never heard any other solo track before on radio - ever.

From the Mac I hear 'Tusk' often, GYOW, Dont' Stop, Sara, Seven Wonders, Gypsy, Over My Head etc. Much more of a range than your radio station I guess, but still all the same ol' same ol' :rolleyes:

Yes, I realize that, but I complain because this radio station is different, they play a wider variety of things, and new things, and lesser heard things, live things, weird things, etc. than most radio stations. So, it's kind of like they are shunning the Mac, but everyone else gets the privilege of being played...And no, that is about the range of my radio station, with a few others. Wait, I've never heard Sara. But that is fine. They do Edge constantly, The Chain a lot, Gypsy, GYOW, SHN, Dreams, Landslide, GDW, Rhiannon, Don't Stop, YMLF, SYLM, Stand Back...

The station that my friend won the contest from in 2003 had her guess 4 Mac songs - they were all by Christine. :laugh: I felt like screaming "she's not even touring with them this time!"

WOW! COngrats Amber! I haven't one ticket for these shows. I had no idea. Guess w/ SN coming around I slacked off on the LB shows. Damn, 1st Turlock then Cupertino. Guess I need to get on the ball! Last I heard it was like Las Vegas then Palm Springs or some random place. Speaking of random is this tour called "Under the Random Radar" tour??? Turlock??? wtf?

I waited on the show in SF, because I hoped my friend who works for Rick Turner could bring me, then she found out her seats were given away (supposedly by Lindsey's wife) and finally she got to go, but took her boyfriend. Feh. I asked her how the show was, and she said, it was ok, except she had to watch it from the wings.:( here's hoping that her boyfriend doesn't wish to go again, but that she does.
