Kathy Griffin - 3rd Season a go!
Bravo renews Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List for a third season
Bravo has renewed My Life on the D-List, Kathy Griffin’s docudrama reality series, for a third season. Six one-hour episodes will air next year. A Bravo press release says we can expect the return of Kathy’s assistant, Jessica, and her loveably wacky parents, John and Maggie Griffin,” plus “a new motley crew of personalities.” Not mentioned: Matt, the husband Kathy divorced after he allegedly stole money from her. Curiously, the title of the network’s announcement says “Bravo Sticks With” Kathy, as if this was some kind of burden. Renewal of the show for a second season wasn’t immediate, as Kathy wanted more money. This past summer, Kathy complained to Page Six that the show had not yet been renewed, and Page Six guessed VH1 might like to pick it up if Bravo did not. Also curious: The Bravo press release quotes Bravo’s executive vice president for programming and production, Frances Berwick, who says, “the new season will continue to show her D-List life in hilarious Technicolor.” That’s a relief, considering how dreary the first two seasons were in black and white. |
It's sad that it's like pulling teeth to get Emmy nominated shows back on the air, but Dr. 90210 is always money.
On the flip side, I'm excited to hear that she will be back for Round 3. She's fantastic! |
i f*cking love her.
she's coming to cleveland in february!! |
Love this bitch. I got tix for her Buffalo show in Feb.
|
I watched this one night and it honestly is a funny show. I remember laughing out loud several times. I saw one where there was a signing for a DVD and only like 20 people came or something.
|
yay. this makes my day!
|
We saw her here in Dallas and had the best time. It was the weekend before Star Jones got the axe and she told us it was going to happen. It was really cool to see Hollywood gossip come to fruition. She's worth every penny they pay her and whatever the tickets cost.
|
I've seen her once. Considering again as I noticed she is playing at the same theatre in palm desert that Lindsey is.

Feb 12th. You're welcome to join me & my work buddies, who have been waiting to see her for about 2 years now. |
Saw her last year, lmao! Paula, and everyone else about to see her, bring kleenex cuz you will laugh 'til you cry!
|
I love Kathy too! Anyone catch her on Larry King last nite? F**k he asks stupid questions. So, whats with you and all the gays? duh?
|
Kathy was great, as usual, on Larry King's show last night. He can be a real tool. Everytime she's on there, he asks her about "you and the gays". I'm excited about season 3 of her show airing on Bravo. She makes me pee. A lot.
Go Kathy.Go. |
Aaaw, I'm bummed that I missed it.
|
New season premieres Tues 6/5/07 @ 9pm. I believe her new stand-up special is on right before.

I'm really excited that it's finally going to premiere. Sadly her dear father died a few months ago so I wonder if he'll still be a part of it. I think they were still filming after he had passed.

Very exciting!!!

i had the pleasure of seeing her a few weeks ago in upper darby and i pretty much sat and laughed the entire night. she was absolutely hysterical. dissing paula -- larry king -- talking about myspace -- some kid in a wheel chair at an event she was booked for -- hi-larious. looking forward to the new season -- apparently you can watch the first episode online already
|
I started to watch the first episode online, but got distracted w/ other stuff, so I'll wait for it to be on TV.
She's coming back to Austin, I saw her the last time she was here - side-splitting laughter, absolutely! She's genius. Remember her fondness for Shipley's Donuts? It's a Houston area chain - they just opened the first one in Austin right around the corner from me. I haven't tried 'em yet, but I'm sure they're good. I mean, I don't think I've ever eaten a crappy donut. :D |
