R.I.P Snowy
 

Our lovely Snowy died tonight. He was hit my a car or lorry on the road. He was only a baby... 6 months old and we are all devastated. He was my son Cory's cat and he hasn't stopped crying. My neighbour found him and he will help me bury him tomorrow as my husband is out of the country with work. I couldn't handle seeing him. I just wanted to post this because I know you will all know what I'm going through and will maybe light a candle or say a prayer for Snowy.

We recently lost a 6-month old also, in the exact same way as Snowy, so I'm especially sad to hear this, and I know how it feels. They are so sweet and innocent and you can't help but completely fall in love with them, so it really hurts when they are no longer with us. Snowy was really beautiful, I'll light a candle for him later.

Thankyou so much Vanessa. I'm sorry to hear that you have been through this too. I just can't stop crying and it breaks my heart to see my kids so upset. Cory told me to lock the cat flap and keep Kit in until the summer

Thanks Jaz. Life sucks at time.. you would think when you are already going through **** that you would get a break huh? I just can't believe he won't be on my bed in the morning right next to my head purring and having a cuddle.

oh Pip, Im so sorry :distress: I just cringe when I think about an animal being run over, so cruel....and your little guy was so cute too.....you DO know about the rainbow bridge, right? I know there is nothing anyone can really say at a time like this, but I will send prayers for your family, and for snowy. :angel:

Cats are such wonderful creatures, and Snowy was such a beautiful little kitten...

Thank you all so much for your lovely words. I'm in tears all over again just reading them. It was a long night last night... Cory barely slept so he will be staying home from school today. I have to smile at the innocence of children though because he asked me if he would be getting another cat soon. We are all terrified about letting Kit go outside too now.

I do know about Rainbow Bridge... not sure I'm ready to go there yet but I'm sure it will bring some comfort

This is the saddest thing I have ever read. Snowy was perfect!!! No words...Im just really, really sorry.

Thanks Janet. I do miss my baby. Waking up in the morning just isn't the same without him cuddling up to me in bed purring so loudly :( It has hit the kids hard. Rhiannon cries if she talks about him.

So sorry to hear about Snowy.
