Seattle show
The show was great. He's got such a raw energy, it was wonderful. The setlist was the same as other shows and he didn't take any requests unfortunately. If I had the money I would've been in Vancouver as we speak but I don't. I took one picture of him performing but it didn't come out because we were too far away. We met him briefly outside the venue. Peg asked him if he remembered Debbie from Holland (me) and he said:"Debbie from Holland??? No, I'm sorry but I don't remember you". He said that to me so evidently he thought that I had asked him the question. Peg said:"From the 80's". He started to laugh and said:"From the 80's??? I got half a brain" or something like that (I guess it's time to step aside and let the younger generation come in :(). He was very apologetic about it, said he met a lot of people, lots of stuff has happened since then etc. He was very sweet, signed my Buckingham Nicks cd (it looks like his daughter Stella did it though LOL) and that was it. Peg took some shots and they're similar to Pattie's. Enjoy!!!!
Does anybody happen to know who the woman is with her hand on his arm??? She seemed to be friends with him and Kristen (she was there too and she looked lovely). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6938.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6939.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6940.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6941.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6942.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6943.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6944.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6945.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/08...r/IMG_6946.jpg |
Wow, those are very clear! :woohoo: I'm always suprised when people say "do you remember me? I met you thus and such!" because I never expect they will remember, and why should they? It's nice he was sweet about it, though.
I don't know who the woman is, but she looks hella crabby in the second pic! Lindsey does have very emotionally raw/sincere energy, it's very refreshing. Glad you had a good time. |
it could be kristen's mother
glad you enjoyed the show! |
Lindsey's sister lives in Seattle I believe -
and he has nieces and nephews there as well |
Who's the angry woman in the red jacket ?
Great photos...and it's cool that you got to talk to him! He wasn't all that chatty in Denver... I love the one of you and he chatting - though it looks like y'all are arguing about something  |
Great photos, Catdancer:xoxo: I am glad you enjoyed the concert and was able to meet and talk to Lindsey:nod:

Wow! Such clear shots, very nice indeed!
That second one though, he looks absolutely _terrified_ .... You guys are genius with captions, someone slap a quote on this! |
The show was absolutely amazing! I'd barely had a chance to listen to the new CD before going since it took so damn long to arrive, but he sure "sold" those songs to me...they all sounded great! Loved how "I'm So Afraid" was presented closer to the eerie studio version for a change (though I think this frustrated some of the more testosterone-driven audience members in the beginning!). "Go Insane" was nuts as usual, and I loved the VERY raw solo version of "Bleed To Love Her". "Holiday Road"...need I say more?! A highlight, of course, was "Save Me A Place". Gorgeous. I'd kill to hear "Oh Diane" next tour. LB's voice sounds great!
Local newspaper articles had LB saying new solo album and tour next year, then FM tour in '08. He also mentioned wanting to get BN out on CD in the next 3-4 years and do a tour with Stevie for it (if she'd agree to it). We'll see.........(fingers crossed). See you next tour, AliP (somehow we always end up right next to each other!). Hopefully next time I'll actually recognize you for once! Sorry about that...my life is crazy right now. |

That woman was weird, I don't care who she is but she was just weird. She had already been backstage but she wouldn't give anyone a chance to spend some time with him outside. I overheard them (I know I was in his face :D ) talking about a guy named Bob and Javier. And it's a good thing that I didn't see her looking at Peg (the second pic) like she did, I would've kicked her ass. |

It does look like that, doesn't it?! I was just concentrating on what he was saying because everybody was talking and I'm going deaf. Quote:

That woman looks oddly familiar to me...but I can't quite place it...perhaps she was in the news at one time. Whoever she is, I am pleased she bought a smile to Lindsey's face and a twink in his eyes. As well, the gentleman with the good grip...very cool. Thanks for these shots, Catdancer. :D |
Love his expression in the second pic. Great pics, Deb.
|
How long did it take LB to come out after the show, btw?
|
I couldn't remember in which thread this was originally mentioned, so I'll post here...
Just apologizing that I didn't come through on my promise to get more info about the seating situation at The Moore before the show. I unexpectedly quit my job just after that and my life has been a bit crazy. It ended up being reserved anyway, so no worries I hope. :wavey: |
