OMG!!! Fleetwood Mac Is Satanic!!!!!!!11!!!
Check out this stuffy little bit of religious propaganda. They brought on some guy to show supposedly "satanic" images and messages in rock music and album covers. Skip ahead to 7:00 if you don't feel like seeing the rest.
So let me get this straight: Uptight religious fundies are looking for "satanic" messages in Fleetwood Mac's music, and they bring up the cover of Rumours. The first thing they notice is the little picture in the crystal ball, and not, say, Stevie dressed up in witch attire. I guess even the religious right has nothing to fear from Wiccans. |
Well he didn't rip them apart too badly - not in comparison to some of the others.
The reason they focus on the Crystal Ball is because all things associated with the "occult" such as Crystal Balls..are considered satanic. Her dress isn't blatantly a "witch's outfit" so the most obvious thing there is the ball... |
LOLOL, what was with that Blue Oyster Cult analysis? That woman is so... Do they mention the Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath album cover at all? They'd have a field day with that one.

Did ya know if you played the theme to the TV series "Mr.Ed" backwards it states the following: "Satan is the source...of course, of course".
Hell, I heard some religious types one time call Stryper, the Christian metal band, Satanists...mmm-kay? Seriously, At the July 2003 OKC Fleetwood Mac show there were relig-a-tards outside the venue protesting the show, I know the Ledge's very own Livia saw 'em. |
Ahhhh...

Is this video from the 1970's. I think that platinum blonde lady with all the make-up on (is she related to Tammy Faye) is still on tv on one of the Christian channels. She is more scarier than any rock band:nod: I was switching channels the other day and thought she was one of those Hefner's Girls Next Door:p

Well, besides listening to Fleetwood Mac, I guess I'm going to hell for having a crystal ball on my computer desk.

i used to wrk w/ this super religious guy & he hated the mac, stevie the most~ well as many of you know i am a hardcore fan, i dress very hippie & wear a moon & pyramid like stevie does/did & sometimes i would wear this little magic wand necklace~ this guy ended up getting fired over mac satanic harrassment of me~ he would sit at his desk & pray for my deliverance from the hold stevie & the mac had on me & when i was pregnant w/ my son he would say my necklaces would demonize my child~ the guy was a super loon!!! ~

He was a super fundie (he's loosened up slightly over the past couple of years...slightly) and used to do stuff like that. Many times he tried "lay hands over me" to stop me from "walking in the fire" |
Well that explains it...

I think it's early 80's. they also left out another good one... Dio's Holy Diver. Helllllooooo! Assuming it was out by then, I don't know. They probably freaked out over that once it was released. |

I have a friend who doesn't allow her daughter to go Trick or Treating because she said it is worshipping Satan and a pagan holiday but her church will have a costume party on Halloween and give the kids candy and show movies. The kids at her church watch cartoons and they dress like cartoon characters or princesses, Batman, Spiderman, ect. I don't see any differences in the kids that came to my door on Halloween than what her church does. I tell her that they are still celebrating Halloween even if they call their party by another name. She use to tell me that Stevie was a witch too back in the 70's and 80's because of what she wore on stage and her songs. Well, that was until Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart had affairs and then she quieted down about Stevie's outfits:nod: |
