Heads up L.A. Ledgies - Lindsey on KLOS this morning
Linds is on KLOS (95.5) this morning. They're playing Down On Rodeo at the moment so the interview should begin shortly.

Dang!
Tried to hear it online, but it says the Mark and Brian show can't be streamed outside LA. :( I hope someone is recording it!

KLOS is horrible.
I'm sure Lindsey's appearance was a record company thing. I'm hoping he'll do an in-studio performance at KCRW, the only worthwhile station in LA - and the only one that's playing Under The Skin! |

I don't have many relatives in the LA area - so as far as family goes, it's just me and my wife (the only relative that lives in California). Other family members that live on the east coast listen through KCRW.com
So we don't even scratch the surface if you consider they have over 550,000 listeners each week. They have the biggest listenership/subscriber base then any other NPR station in the country. But numbers aside, KCRW is about good taste in music, and I think that's why they're the only station in the LA market that has really gotten behind Lindsey's album. |
Just bumping this up as a reminder... It's today, or this morning that he's on...

All I know is that at the end he played Down On Rodeo. A pal at work had her radio set to the station and she told me it was on, but being at work, I had no way to try to listen to it and my computer at work doesn't the necessary downloaded software (for me to hear it) if they even played it on the 'net. I told her if they announced the song Down On Rodeo, to let me know. She called my extension 5 minutes before it was over to say he was playing that song and I FLEW down to her cubicle to hear it. As for the other songs, she didn't recognize any of them, but, #1-she wouldn't know any of his solo stuff and #2-she missed part of it because she got busy at work. Too bad the radio station doesn't keep those shows archived for the fans to go back and listen to. I'd love to hear the whole thing. The little bit of talking the three of them did after Down On Rodeo sounded like BS. Something about Mark and Brian playing at the Key Club (in Hollywood) and having Lindsey play there, but neither of us could make out what the hell Mark and Brian were babbling about. That's all I know.

^^ thank you. I thought for one moment NOBODY had listened...
Out there! Is there more info please????? |
Someone better have recorded this. I'm quite anxious to find out whether he did Street of Dreams or not, and more anxious to actually hear it. :wavey:
