My Favourite Artists: The Poll #2

As a follow on from iamstevienicks's thread, I thought I would do one of my own.

Which of my favourite ten artsits do you love the most?

-________-

I can't possibly pick between those! Gimme some time to think.... :distress:

:xoxo: ****, I love Marianne and Siouxsie. A lot.

Bowie ftw.

I went with Eric.

Blondie. Eat to the Beat was my favorite album throughout high school.

Ok....I just HAD to vote for Blondie. They're like, one of my all time favorites.

My apologies go out to:
Madonna
David Bowie
Eric Clapton
Aimee Mann
Souxsie & The Banshees

:distress:

Marianne, hands down. She's my new Stevie. :D

I like Blondie, Eric Clapton, Neil Young (but only his country stuff), and the Rolling Stones (prior to about 1972), but none of them would be on my personal top 10 list.

i had to go w/ clapton, that man is amazing!!!~

No fair!
I love me some Blondie.... some Bowie... AND some Aimee Mann.

Aimee's solo stuff is great.
I totally discovered and am in awe of her and Maria McKee after they left their respective '80's bands. They are both amazing songwriters. :wavey:

I had to go with Sophie since I know most all of her stuff - I do like her more than any other on that poll :D

This was easy. Neil Young.

I went with Blondie. Surprised?

Although, I would have gone with Foxy Brown had she made the list. ;)

Haha. I was going to, but I thought I would steer clear of rap for this one...

Well from that list I chose Madonna, since it's the artist that I own most songs.
But I think Clapton and Bowie are far better musicians. Followed by Blondie.

However if you ask me about my fave singers/bands besides Fleetwood Mac, I would say:

Queen
Donna Summer
ABBA
Elton John
Pet Shop Boys
Pink Floyd
Annie Lennox
Police

Supertramp, Barbra, Styx, Whitney were in the list in the past.

Madonna...

exactly....

Clapton for me. Love his stuff, and he was amazing when I saw him live.

i actually had to wait a while to vote on this, because i like so many of the ones you listed. i went with neil young.

Really? I was sure you would have gone with Bowie or Siouxsie!!

really, it could have been any of those three, depending on the day. kind of like my holy trinity of musicians - babs, stevie, and cyndi. they all take turns being my fav. :D

damn we are so close to being dopplegangers.

my 3 are Stevie, Barbra and Christina. so close...yet SO far away.

I really need to get into Cyndi more.

My three ladies? Stevie, Sophie B. and Siouxsie Sioux :D

you do - i think you could totally fall for her. what do you have of hers? bitch is mega, ultra, ferociously talented.

I'm scared to tell you cause you might yell at me.

let me look at iVana (my iPod) - you may have to point me in the right direction.

omg, iVana???? plz, that is so much cuter than penelope (mine).

me yell? plz. i'm here to nurture ... in fact, i'm uploading something for you right now that i KNOW you don't have. :xoxo:

I thought it was pretty ingenious myself.

and it's worse than I thought. the only things I have are Shine (QAF remix), Shine (live) and Time After Time. I think I also have Time After Time live, but don't see it.

omg! get thee to a record store and get yourself she's so unusual. her first solo album, simply impossible to criticize. perfect place to start. then we can go from there. i'm glad you have shine b/c it's megahot. imma send you the same live show i sent to michael, and i'm also uploading something else. :D

u da bomb.

I love Shine.

For me, Neil Young, hands down.

Sasja

Sup Shine live! Do you know what show? I should send you the acoustic version, unless Carrie's covered that. It's Cyngasmic.

^^^
Live At Last I believe.

Ooh, that's a good one! I'll need to send you the one from my December show... She blew it out of the water. My god. *gets to uploading*

lol ... sorry, i just sent that to him, twin!

Aw, crap.
