Ticketmaster UTS CDs.....
Am I the only one who hasn't received my copy of UTS as purchased through Ticketmaster during the presale?! "Will ship on Oct. 3rd" my ass!!!
|
I received one of my cds but I should be getting another one from my ticket to the LA show.
|
I didn't either. I bought it during the radio presale, but the recepit said they were gunna send me one, and I've yet to get it. I guess I'll just buy it anyway.
|
 I'd be complaining to someone - it should have been delivered to you already....I got mine via US Mail two days after its official release!
|
I went to the record store and bought mine the day it came out.
I would be P*SSED because you could have just gone and gotten it 2 1/2 weeks ago. |
My boyfriend did the presale thing and didn't get his CD yet either. Not sure what's up with that, but thank goodness he bought the CD on the release date anyway. We'll call them tomorrow and see what's up.
|
I thought I was the only one! I got presale LA as well, but I got the fast ticket thing. Nice to know I'm not alone!
|
I got one of them two days after the official release date but my second copy has not arrived yet
|
I got mine a week after it was released. I called TM on the 7th and they said if it was bought before the third it could take 7-10 business days after the offical release date. She also told me its not TM thats sending them out its his management.

I purchased my ticket for the Portland show on Sept 28 and I haven't gotten my CD either. Called TB last week and they told me I will get my CD before the show. Thursday I called Warner Brothers customer service (866-759-4843) they didn't have me listed for getting a CD. I called TB again... I punched in my order # it said I have a ticket in will call for the concert AND a ticket for the MLB World series in Seattle on Dec 31st 2007..... for $15.19. When I spoke to someone in customer service she told me that there was a glitch in the system and that because I chose will call for my method of delivery on the ticket it also put the CD on will call. I asked her why I have a baseball ticket in will call for the same amount as the CD? She insisted I don't and stuck by her story about a glitch in the system. She said they will ups the CD to me......will see

Thanks, everyone. Sounds like I should put in a phone call. What is LOGICAL about having CDs at Will Call with the tix? Does it OCCUR to them we MAYBE want to know the album BEFORE the show??!!!
It was torturous enough for me to not do my traditional trip to my favorite record store on the release date, let alone observe ya'll discussing the album when I haven't even heard it yet! (But also can't bring myself to go buy another copy when I supposedly already did.....) |
Well, I finally got mine today...or I should say "Rodney Hudson" did (Note: I am not a Rodney Hudson.) Right address, wrong name. But the more important thing is that my CD is now here.
|
I also called Ticketmaster. When he looked a the status of my CD, my name wasn't even on the list of CDs that had been shipped. So he put me on hold and talked to someone else. Apparently, for anyone who bought tickets after 9/26/06, the CDs had not been shipped as of last Friday. Our CDs are supposed to be shipped this week, and it'll take 7-10 days.
I hope I get to listen to it before my LA concert!!! |
Mine came a week and a half after the official release date, so I ended up going and buying it at Borders. Now, I have two copies. I would be complaining to Ticketmaster, and see who they tell you to complain to from there. My packaging return address said Warner Bros. You could try complaining to them too.

Okay I found the post I was referring to....... Barnes and Noble is suppose to have the CD with Say Goodbye as a bonus track--does anyone know if this is true?? I haven't actually picked up the CD yet and am thinking when I do that I would like to have it with the bonus track if this exists.......

Well, my CD finally came today. yay!
My packaging also had someone else's name. I'm just glad the postal worker still delivered it to me. I looks like they wrote "here?" on the package. |

I finally got one of my two yesterday. And it had the wrong name on it too. |

Maybe they somehow criss-crossed the MLB ticket orders with the LB CD orders??!! What the hell?! Still no CD for me...I called TM today and they were of no help. Told me it has to do with WB but that they couldn't give me any way to reach them (I'll try number posted here). The best answer they could give me was that it would be shipped after the show, but they didn't even sound too certain about that. Okay, so my receipt says "will be shipped on or AROUND Oct. 3rd", and (or course) TM told me that almost a month later is still considered "around". Why do these companies bother collaborating on these things if they're not going to communicate??!!! Always thinking of fans first......... |
re: Wrong names on the envelopes...
It strikes me as porn packaging - use an alias in case a neighbor sees and gets suspcious. |
Wierd!
My mom told me while I was in Chicago that the mailman left a tag that said I had a package from Warner Brothers, but it was not my name either. GAH!!
Has anyone had problems not getting their Will Call tickets? |
Though I don't feel it had anything to do with my conversation with Ticketmaster 5 days ago, my CD FINALLY arrived today.....addressed, of course, to one "Tony Rotundo". (Not me. Not even close.) Hopefully the real Tony Rotundo is not somewhere in the world trying to obtain tickets or something mistakenly filed under my name............

Ut
I got mine about two weeks after the ticket arrived....
|
Received the first CD quickly, but the 2nd one, which was ordered the same day and for the same concert, has never arrived. Grrrrr....
