I chose Sarah McLachlan (thank your for actually spelling her name right). I adore her music...and though I enjoy a few songs from Madonna and Celine I like the majority of Sarah's music - so had to go with her.

Mariah is an acquired taste (I do prefer her earlier stuff)

I went for Celine, I have become a non stop cher listening machine!!

But yes Sarah is AMAZING!!

Her cover of 'River' is sumptuous!

I went with sarah although I really wouldn't consider any of these on my favorites list.

the bad thing is, I have 2 mariah carey cd's (early early)
1 N'sync and 1 justin timberlake cd and 1 sarah mclachlan cd

I would NEVER have a celin dion cd.

(and I had to change sarah's name 4 times to get it right.. SH**TTTEEEE!!!)

Debbie Gibson, Whitney, Five Star, Michael Jackson, Spice Girls and Jewel all just missed out :p

I think you have great, varied taste. it was a hard decision cause I love Mariah and Kate, but ABBA is my favorite on your poll.

Deanna's gonna kill me, but I went with Mariah. Vision of Love and Emotions were the **** to me when they came out. The last Mariah song I really LOVED was "honey", but that was awhile ago. Comparatively speaking, I like more Mariah songs then Madonna, Kylie, Celine, ABBA, etc.

sorry. if it's any consolation, I like Desert Angel and no one likes that song. :distress:

I voted Celine Dion since she does a smokin' version of It's All Coming Back To Me Now, which has been one of my favourite songs since I was knee high. of all those listed my second would be Abba.

What I would have put on this list would have been Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Meat Loaf, Free etc.
