My NYC photos!!
 

OK first of all I had purchased a front row ticket from a broker and it was supposed to be at my hotel by 3pm yesterday. It never showed. I waited until 7:45 before I left for the venue. I could not find a cab to save my life. I decided to walk the 8 blocks from Macy's to 43rd. I get there just as Lindsey took the stage. The place was so quiet and here I am squeeking in the doors. I get to my seat which sucked to be honest. It was second row but off to the side right in front of the speakers. I decided that I need some water so up and off I go. I come back in once again but now with water.:laugh: I felt really bad like I was interrupting LB's performance but hey I just walked 8 blocks to see him.
OK, Lindsey seemed to be in a good mood last night for some reason. He kept looking over at me too as if he was trying to make it a point. Maybe he has been reading the reviews on The Ledge. LOL
I almost died when he said that they would try and do SMAP as an encore. I really did not think that it would happen but it did. I met a really nice Ledgie (Hi Eileen!) who let me up near her front row seat. I was going to try to have Lindsey sign one of my Atlanta photos but once again he skipped out on all of us.:(
I was afraid to take any of my cameras out because security was right next to me. Almost near the end of the show just about everyone had some kind of a camera so I took out my little Pentax Optio. I got some OK shots nothing that great but I will share them anyway.

BTW, I agree, those seats were definitely not stellar. However, this was my first time ever in front row so I was happy, LOL!

Joy Behar (sp?) from "The View" just said she was at Lindsey's show last nite and said she loved it. She said instead of smelling like marijuana, the place smelled like Bengay :laugh: (she's a comediene) She also said that it was really cool to hear FM songs done and how different and good they sounded (casual fan :rolleyes: )

Ok, Joy is still going on about Lindsey. They're talking to Gloria Estefan (sp?) and Joy says it's so nice to watch artist's like Lindsey Buckingham who are still around after 30 years and not like these new artists of today (or something along those lines).

Really?? That's so cool... I tape the show, so I'll have to watch it tonight.

We should all email Joy at The View and ask her to get in touch with Stevie Nicks' people so she can perform on The View. Joy is the auctioneer this year at the Hullaween thing Bette Midler is putting on - so she'll be there for the festivities... and I bet with enough requests, she might be able to wrangle something... Would be a great warm up for Stevie prior to the Hullaween thing.

......and Rosie is a HHHUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE fan of Stevie's.

I thought of that - except you probably have to plan these things ahead of time and they usually have the show scheduled weeks in advance and Lindsey is off to Boston and CT.. Stevie's in town the end of the month, so figured that would be more likely. Probably not for either, but doesn't hurt to put it out there.

I emailed Rosie a couple of weeks ago (since she's a Stevie, FM fan) right after Bob Segar appeared on the show, asking about having another great rock N roller on. Hehe, great minds think alike :laugh:

Hmm, don't know if he reads the Ledge or not. :laugh: I'm thinking he looked down and didn't see you, then he found you and kept looking over at you to reassure himself that you were, in fact, there! ;) Sounds like he's loosening up a bit...hopefully it'll just get better and better!
