I have a new daughter!
 

I have been totally consumed with a new addition to my family! I won't bore you with all the details... let's just say this is my late husband's long lost daughter, and Sara's half sister. We just met her for the first time this past Saturday. I've known all along about her, but she never knew about us, and she is totally excited to have what she calls a "second mom" and a little sister... I think she's more excited about having a little sister, though. That's OK... we're terribly excited about her too. They look so much alike!

She lives about an hour north of us.

Sara is so excited, she wants to call her every single night. I keep telling Sara to give her some space, but Sam usually calls Sara every night! They are so cute with eachother...

Such happy news - I'm really happy for you guys!

I had the most wonderful time with these two girls this weekend. We wound up going swimming, going out to Chinese, going to buy Mt. Dew, and lots of snacks, and just sitting around watching TV and playing on the internet. She downloaded some of her music for me, so I'm in the process of uploading it all to my ipod... hahaha... I think we all will have a close bond. They're already talking about next weekend.
