I Saw Stevie In Gville Today!!!
 

Saw stevie in gainesville today, by puuuuuure luck....I ALMOST FLIPPED OUT!

i had to go with my candidate to a political event at the hilton hotel. It was a luncheon for "house of hope" so we come out, going out the backway of the hotel and we see huge buses getting stuff put in. It was then i thought omg....i bet petty is stayin here and there were blk cars just sitting. As soon as i saw what was going on...stevie came out the back doors. I shoved my boss aside and walked up to her all confident and told her that i was so sad i couldnt see them tonight, but there was a huge political event in gville i was forced to attend, but ive seen you 4 times solo, and 3 times with the mac. She said "wowwww you are a fan arent you? and a lil cutie 2"then i said....i was anxiously awaiting linds new album, and she said "yahhh its so great for him, this was his baby". Then i said..."im also looking forward to another album from you" and she winked at me and said..."we'll see, i am writing like crazy, would make sense to get them out there at some point, bye sweetie, and it was so nice meeting you".

I CAN DIE NOW....she was so sweet, she wasnt done up at alll though, she looked like she were on her way to work out or something (workout/pajama type outfit). She seemed so happy, and I guarantee this will be a great show, SUCKS I HAVE TO MISS IT!!!

she had a small entourage with her, but she was literally just walking to get into her car from the hotel, while all the petty tech guys were loading stuff in/out of their buses.

I have to ask: Was her hair and make-up done? :laugh: and if not, how did she look? Please explain her outfit in detail :o

That's is great Gavin! I don't know if I would have been able to walk up to her or anyone in the band... I may have just froze:eek:

she had no makeup, and her hair was pulld up. Her little outfit was a black jumpsuit (pajama/workout style). She looked great for not being done up, and while the outfit may have been misleading, she looks like shes dropped a little weight.

WOW!!! That's so awesome. Congrats, Gavin!!!! I'm surprised you could even say something.... And she called you a "lil cutie". I'm surprised you're still alive :lol:

Oh. My. God. That is so awesome. I would've died. That is good you went right up to her, I probably would have fainted on the way. It sucks you are missing the big TP homecoming show, though. :( Wow, you know, only a relative handful of people get to meet her, and you are one of them! And you didn't have to pay $1000 to attend the Arizona heart thing!

well i work for a political consulting firm so we handle different candidates, but this one was a state senate candidate in florida.

Congratulations....I love the "random meeting" stories. I live in South Florida and when I was walking in to work this morning I remember thinking.....Oh Wow Stevie's here. Three hundred miles away....but hey that's still here!!!! :]

Wow, I love the fact that she winked at you. Sometimes though it really does come across that she does not fully realize how badly her fans want a new album or the fact that we see her multiple times either solo or with the Mac.
(or it just comes across that way because she is being humble)

I bet you were on cloud 9 all day today. I know I would be. You should write this down in a journal or something so you will have something to read and re-read to look back on this wonderful experience.

i love that it was pure fate - nothing planned or set up, and that she was SO great to you!! honestly, i love stories like this. you are SO lucky, gavin. probably most of us would chew off our own right arm to have this experience.

I'm heading to the show tonight (atl)... without tickets. Hopefully I'll get lucky like I did last time when I get there. Too bad you can't make the show, but I'd rather meet Ms. Nicks face-to-face anyday! =o]
