Shows you are attending

I have been researching and think I will be going to these shows:

Chicago
Phoenix
San Francisco
Denver
Seattle
Vancouver

The only city I've been to is Denver. Back in 1998, we drove through Phoenix. I'm super excited to see Chicago, San Fran, Seattle and Vancouver! I hope it all works out for me. :)

WelshWitchPMD 09-08-2006 06:36 PM

I plan on going to:

Atlanta
Nashville
Falls Church, VA
New York City
Boston
Foxwoods Casino, Ledyard, CT

I am not sure about the rest yet. Of course I have a credit from Southwest air but he seems to not be playing in ciites that they serve when it is a convenient time for me to go.

DrummerDeanna 09-08-2006 06:52 PM

Yea!! Denver is on a Saturday - which means I CAN GO!! I'm excited - so I'll be going to Denver show...:D

shackin'up 09-08-2006 06:55 PM

none.:distress:

wondergirl9847 09-08-2006 07:04 PM

Cool!

Deanna...I will see you in Denvah! Perhaps we can meet up at Casa Bonita. LOL We used to have one in Fort Worth, but it closed many years ago. Is that one still open up there?

Pattie....:( I was hoping to meet you. I can't go to any of those shows.

Awww..Gerald. :( If I were super mega-rich, I'd fly you over. :)

shackin'up 09-08-2006 07:07 PM

Oh yeah - we'll definitely have to meet up!! I'm not sure what Casa Bonita is ...sounds like a Mexican Restaurant? Hopefully some more Ledgies will join?

And Pattie - you should come to Denver - it'd be great to see you again, and then Christy could meet you :p

LINDSEY#1FAN 09-08-2006 07:15 PM

Milwaukee, Chicago, and maybe Denver ?

My husband has been after me to go to Denver to see his daughter out there, I kept telling him no, so this morning, I asked him if he would like to go out there on November 12th, which is our anniversary, knowing that LB will be there on the 13th - he says to me " why, is Buckingham playing there, or something? " Uhhhhhhh, yes!;) He says "so you'll go out to Denver to see Lindsey, but not to see my daughter?" - well, duh, of course!!!!!!!!! :] I think I can make it to that one, too, with a little prodding.

I would go to more, but we have our own business - sucks sometimes - like now !!!!!!!!:distress:

Joela1 09-08-2006 07:21 PM

I got tickets for the show in Foxwoods.

I'm thinking of getting tickets for the Boston show too (it is right near where I work) if I find someone to go with.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Lindsey solo.

TwistedGypsy 09-08-2006 07:25 PM

Atlanta and if I'm real lucky one of the Ohio shows.

wondergirl9847 09-08-2006 07:30 PM

Aww...

I'll be in New Jersey seeing Justin Guarini that night, but thanks, G. :xoxo:

Deanna, Casa Bonita is actually in Aurora. Yes, it's a Mexican food place. They have rides and games and people who dive off a cliff into a pool of water. It's really a place for kids. I thought maybe you'd seen that South Park episode where Kyle has his birthday there and doesn't invite Cartman. He DOES invite Butters and Cartman hides Butters away and goes in his place. Funny ep!

OMG...it's only 5 miles from the venue! We are so going to Casa Bonita. LMAO!! http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?newa...03%29+232-5115

estranged4life 09-08-2006 07:34 PM

Well...

while Denver would be fun (Havent been to Denver since 1984. Plus I can do some snooping around about some family history since 3 of my 5 older siblings were born in Denver under weird/mysterious circumstances) I doubt I would have enough $$$ saved up to attend any show (Too many medical bills!!!)

I am thinking about it. I want to do San Francisco and LA too but the darn dates are so spaced out but yet not far enough for me to go out there and fly back and go and fly back out again. I am also thinking about Chicago. If he does more then one date I might go out to see a show. I just wish that it was somehow attached to a weekend.:(

macfanken 09-08-2006 08:13 PM

Seattle and Vancouver! :blob2:

Ian 09-08-2006 08:32 PM

Atlanta, Milwaukee and possibly Chicago  All you folks going to Atlanta- we should set a meet point for The Ledge :D :blob1:

...actually I think we're going together, you know, with Danny and all.

Still, I was really holding out for the San Fran show, I reeeeeaaallly wanted to go. Next tour.

macmar71 09-08-2006 09:15 PM

Foxwoods, CT show and if I can get a ticket for the NYC show.....wish those tickets would go on sale soon.

princessblair 09-08-2006 09:20 PM

Just Milwaukee...unless a miracle happens and a Minnesota date is added to the tour!

johndoe 09-08-2006 10:37 PM

Boston only for me. I'd love to go to more, but I don't have a car.Plus, I can't really afford any more than two tickets.

Yes! And then storm the Playhouse for front and center stage together!:wavey:

Atlanta and Nashville are the only shows I'll be able to attend. I'd love to see a couple of shows in Cali--I've never been to the west coast--but being a working "soccer mom" kinda restricts my freedom to travel.:)

JunkFoodGenius 09-08-2006 10:53 PM

I'm doing either LA or Anaheim or both. I like the Grove - I saw Erasure there last year and with the bar and ability to move your way up close? Good times. I haven't been to the Wiltern yet (nearly saw Eddie Izzard there), but I hear it's fantastic. I'm just wincing at the probable cost - Pet Shop Boys are going to be there later in November and their price is really steep.

Yeah. Synth pop and rock and roll. I feel like I should pick on myself.

DavidMn 09-08-2006 11:25 PM

These are the ones I'm looking at going to possibly these shows:

Cleveland
Cincinnati
Detroit

Hopefully itll happen

Me too. Seattle is definite, Vancouver a maybe. Does anyone know how much the tickets are? If they're not that expensive we might hit Vancouver too. Bless his heart for coming to the North West. Thank you, Lindsey!!!! :]

desertangel 09-09-2006 05:32 AM

Probably just the Portland show for me.

Edit: I just found out this venue only seats about 800 and the floor is 14 rows of 22. WhooHoo!!! NICE!

That works!! Lets Do it! :)

BLY 09-09-2006 07:48 AM

I will be doing the Falls Church, Va show. I missed his tour in 92 so this will be a first time to see him without the Mac.

I saw him once in 93 and I wish I could have seen him at least one other time but I should count myself lucky that I had at least that. He was incredible and I know he will be incredible this time around, too

SandyMac 09-09-2006 09:36 AM

I am planning on going to the Falls Church, VA show.

stevierocks87 09-09-2006 09:57 AM

Just Atlanta- I live right down the street from the venue! I was finally able to get general sale tickets today on Ticketmaster.

Here here to getting together and storming the venue for front spots!

:] Adam

Oh yeah. I plan on getting there quite early so I can get front row (hopefully, we'll see). Maybe I'll save a few spots ;) :D

Janet 09-09-2006 01:35 PM

Just Atlantic City. I can't go around the country...job and money won't allow.

Maybe NY but I sincerely doubt I can get that much time off.

michelle2677 09-09-2006 02:01 PM

Well, I WAS going to get tickets today for the Nashville show, but I had a Dr's appt yesterday, so I am getting ready to go through some pretty expensive medical treatment. UGH. Unless something changes-none right now :( :( :( :(

I am sorry to hear that. I hope that you are OK.

sodascouts 09-09-2006 04:39 PM

Right now, it looks like Kristin (gypsyrhiannon), Tiff (Wldhrt315), and I will be attending Cincinnati, Mt. Clemens, and Chicago (multiple times if more are added). We have a couple non-Ledgies coming too to Chicago - should be quite a trip! I'm keeping Milwaukee as a possiblity, if I can get good tickets.

wondergirl9847 09-09-2006 06:05 PM

Cool!

I get to meet you all in Chicago, Nancy.

I'm super excited because the venue in Seattle is actually a hotel too! I'll be staying literally right there! I'm going to hop an Amtrak the next day and go to Vancouver and stay a couple of days. I cannot freakin' WAIT!

My dad was a little miffed when I told him I was going to Seattle/Vancouver.

DavidMn 09-09-2006 11:32 PM

Well, I crunched the numbers, adn I can do Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit for about $500. I'm goin for it! What the hell right?
