OMG! how funny! two of those blokes looked like they were wearing clothes right out of the 60's! anyway, fun video thanks for sharing

Red 09-05-2006 11:13 PM

Hmm, I wonder if Stevie would approve?

gldstwmn 09-06-2006 12:12 AM

I bet that took some practice. That was really good.

Livia 09-06-2006 12:13 AM

They did it live on the MTV Video Awards. They are amazing! I struggle just trying to change things up and walk backwards and sideways on mine!

"Gym: The Musical"

I love it, very cool. Brilliant, really.
Why didn't we think of that? I'm sure we've spent enough time on treadmills...

Well, maybe YOU perhaps. Without Stevie, I would have no f*cking CLUE what a treadmill is.

I'm not talking to you, doyhead, but to Strand. You should have known that because I said "Gym: The Musical" - and who would be most likely to be in a musical but Strand?

JK, I know you and your big boobies and skinniness don't love the treadmill, but...
random fact: The city an hour from where I grew up, sort of the satellite city (Sacramento) to my town, was voted most fit city. :D
Anyway, you can just chalk it up to California. I been knowing treadmills since 8th grade. But I totally cheated on it with racketball. Treadmills and I became more serious when I was about 20. Then we broke up, then got back together, then I went out with Elliptical, and I was seeing Recumbent Bike while seeing treadmill...I guess we have an on again, off again open relationship.

And who would be LESS likely to hit a gym than me? I haven't seen a gym since mandatory high school PE. I should've known...

Exactamundo. You should exercise, BTW, I'm concerned for your health.

What was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of me crunching Doritos.

*shakes fist at you!*

Goddamit, I so wish I had Doritos! I only have broccoli, and a grainy vegetable laden sandwich, and corn on the cob. Until Thursday. It's like a nightmare. One I have pretty regularly.

want.chips.so.much.

At least I have avacado and habenero jack cheese for my samwich. In additon to millions of veggies. My sandwich would sure taste great with some chips, though.

Wait! I have white corn tortillas! I can make chips! Hurray! The world is saved!

P.S. I still hate you.

I rather see us doing this on an escalator at Caesar's - and the scary thing is, we sort of did

michelle2677 09-06-2006 01:41 PM

that looks so cool!! I wonder how long it took to get that down. I liked when they spun around, and also when it looked like they were skiing.

I also wonder if it was legit or if they had visual effects. I don't know how they would of, just wondering :)

SuzeQuze 09-06-2006 03:38 PM

I thought this routine was creative and pretty great too. Highly entertaining. And people made fun of Stevie for using a treadmill in the Stand Back video!

DrummerDeanna 09-06-2006 03:47 PM

^^

To me, the above video and Stevie's Stand Back routine are the only good things about Treadmills

Running, for me, is the worst kind of punishment ever. I hate threadmills

I hate running too (high five). It just hurts so I refuse to do it. I hate treadmills too, I'm strictly an elliptical girl.

Me too :D Although if I get bored with the elliptical I'll also do bike. So many people have tried to get me to run - but even in my most fit and healthy of days - I HATED running and it always made me want to die

Non-runners of the world unite! :p

Sometimes I'll use the bike but it's been a while. My gym has a couple different types of ellipticals so that helps variety-wise. They have this brand new one with arm thingies that seems to burn a lot of calories. I'm bouncing between two gyms now because my city gym has brand new equipment but the gym in my town has parking. It winds up being a timing thing. My town gym also has ancient machines :(. But they have been replacing a few at a time so hopefully that will continue.
