Anyone hear of any other tour dates????

It has been too quiet for me to have peace of mind. Still dying to know when the NYC date is. I thought that dates were going to be announced this past week....
I am so antsy...I am ready to rip my hair out!!! Come on, announce the tour dates and make all your Ledgie fans happy!!

Chicago is right after that.

The promoter of the Chicago play is nuts to think that they can sell out three shows, especially considering the other show (Milwaukee) in the region.

WelshWitchPMD 08-28-2006 12:55 AM

Does anyone know where and when the first show will actually be?

Well, yes... it's going to be seated, so it'll be 650 a show... but is Lindsey solo worth 1900 tickets in Chicago? At ~$50 a ticket?

Eh, not that I'm complaining- I'll be going to at least two of the shows, just in case he doesn't make it up to my new 'hood.

Hmm, I wonder why we have no word of this show yet? This whole tour seems to be pretty strange already.

Unlike recent Mac tours, which were promoted by a single company (Magic Entertainment in '97, and Concerts West/AEG in '03-'04), dates for this tour have been booked by various promoters around the country- which explains why certain dates by independent promoters have gone on sale before others (ex. Gary Witt and the Pabst in Milwaukee) and another was incorrectly announced/put on sale before the damned date was even confirmed (ex. the morons in Falls Church)

So that would explain why some shows say presented by AEG and some say LiveNation. Any idea where he would play in Atlanta?

And Jam's doing the Chicago shows. Heck, even The Messina Group is co-proing the Nashville show. Everyone is involved.

As for Atlanta, the Tabernacle makes the most sense.

Any idea how long this tour will last? If it really is going to be a month of shows..three dates in the Chicago area and two within an hour and a half of each other in the New England area seems sort of strange. Anyone know if there will be any Texas or Phoenix area shows?

3 dates in Chicago ???????????????? Where did you guys hear that??????????

If he is playing 3 dates here in the windy city - then I better save up some more money! :)

Not the actual city of Chicago but three dates in that general area of the country...they are sort of clumped together. Milwaukee, Mt Clemenns and Chicago. Maybe it is normal but for a month long tour, I thought the venues would be more wide spread.

He's doing 3 dates in the actual city of Chicago too. Plus Detroit, Milwaukee, etc.

Thanks. :D That is some interesting news. Lots of midwest dates clumped together. ;)

I'm not too sure it will...:(

WelshWitchPMD 08-28-2006 09:41 PM

OK, so I got home form work around 10PM and I figured that we would have all of the dates by now but no we still don't have them. Not only do we not have them we still don't have even the first date. :distress:
Are there going to be any other shows between Milwaukee and Mt Clemens? It seems like an awful long stretch.

LINDSEY#1FAN 08-29-2006 08:00 AM

Well, I know that the Milwaukee show is definitely on !! :]

I got home last night and was going through my mail , and I received my tickets for the Milwaukee show, so I have them in hand now!!

I can't wait!!

I wish they would announce the rest of the venues, though -it makes it REALLY hard to plan anything!!!!:distress:

shackin'up 08-29-2006 10:49 AM

especially when you're a bunch of thousand miles away...

DESTINYRU!ES 08-29-2006 01:02 PM

September is tomorrow

I think Lindsey's people better get on the ball with the full tour date schedule. Tomorrow is September 1st ! October is right around the corner and I don't know where I'm going yet. Come on Lindsey, every day costs us more in airfare!

In your own words "Do it, Do it, Do it!":blob2:

DESTINYRU!ES 08-29-2006 01:04 PM

whoops september is infact three days away; my goof
But still, Lindsey's people, the dates please!

I received my plane tickets in the mail today...now let's hope there won't be all kinds of drastic changes, I will be so screwed then.

Dc

Does anyone know anything about the show in DC? Falls Church? I was told a few things at the Box Office but...I am not really sure about what is up. The show is not officially cancelled according to TM but now when you call the Theatre and ask about the show..they are not too friendly. :(

They should make it a task on Fear Factor. "We dare you to make arrangements before Lindsey Buckingham's tour dates are even officially announced." ;)

Does anyone know who will be in his band or if he is going to even have a band?

I got an e-mail from Brett Tuggle two weeks ago and he will definately be playing with Lindsey on this tour. I didn't ask who else will be in the band but I am willing to bet that Neale Heywood will be as well.

This really does seem like a badly co-ordinated effort... You'd think they could make some sort of attempt to put all the dates out around the same time.

Nicks Fan 08-31-2006 05:59 PM

This is the question and response I got when I contacted Jessica

I live in Canada and am wondering if he will be playing Canada for
this tour, and if the tour is only going for a month or will their be
more dates.

Thank you

Matt

The confirmed tour date list should be up by the end of this week.

Weren't we told that we'd have the dates at the end of the week about a week or two ago.....deja vu...have we been here before......I am so chomping at the bit for an NYC date!!!

wondergirl9847 08-31-2006 09:01 PM

Cool

After seeing pics of The Wiltern online...that is one show I am most DEFINITELY going to! That theatre looks amazing! It's so old Hollywood-ish. The Grove looks like an outside venue with a top on it. Ugh. Can anyone tell me about the acoustics at either place?

Yeah...what I don't get is why there's a billboard on I-95 North in CT between exits 56 and 57 about the show...but when I check the Foxwoods website, there's NOTHING on there about him coming! WTF? I hate seeing the billboard every day on my way to work...it's a tease. I almost got into an accident the first time I saw it, lol.

johndoe 08-31-2006 10:54 PM

What if the whole tour is a hoax? Like, hes starting rumors of false dates, and what we think is a Lindsey gig in Milwaukee, is actually Brian Larsen playing the "songs he wrote".
