anyone attend concerts while pregnant?

I am new at this, so you guys tell me if I need to get rid of all my summer tickets. Is it safe to attend concerts while pregnant? Has anyone gone to concerts while pregnant?

Advice from all you ledgie mommies, please!

I would ask your doctor for his/her opinion, but my doctor told me it was safe. In fact, she told me that her partner in the OB practice saw a Prince show with his wife who was almost due. She was afraid she'd go into labor at the concert, but she made it for a few more days afterward. I asked because I was about to attend several shows last year...Vegas and Jones Beach included. I had a great time.

Congratulations, btw. When are you due?

Congratulations!
I went to a few live shows while pregnant, and even went to Burning Man, although that was super early in the pregnancy. I would say, just make sure you are closer to the bathrooms than the stage, or the amps.

The last Stevie Vegas show I was about 8 weeks pregnant. I was fine accept I couldn't hang with everyone else like I had before, I was sooooo tired. But I think as long as your not in a mosh pit it would be fine. :)

I am due March 12. I am only 12 weeks along now. I went to the Poison show last night, had super close seats and felt it was too loud, so mostly spent time in the concession area. But still had a good time.

One of my best friends is a KISS fanatic (I know  ) and we went to one of their concerts while she was about 4 months pregnant. *I* was a nervous wreck for her but she was fine. :o

I remember seeing her sitting the side of the stage with the baby. I'm sure she did though.

Steph-You'll know if its ok or not. The motherly instincts kick in immediately!! Pretty soon, you'll be cleaning out the cabinets and reorganizing them. :p

I saw the Enchanted tour very early in my pregnancy, then I went to Ozzfest when I was 5 months. Boy, that was a blast. We walked around all day long... I was so tired. Here's the funny part. We sat down for a few at one point so I could rest, and some guy came up to us, and asked if we wanted some free condoms. Jason looked at the dude like he was a dumbass, patted my belly and told him "...it's a little to late for that, dude."

I seem to recall something about her flying over to Europe? and wasnt there talk of her flying to Australia in her last trimester?

I went to an Enchanted show when I was pregnant and it was fine. I had to go to the bathroom twice during the show...which I HATED. I also was more tired afterwards but the baby was fine. He has liked FM music all his life, especially Lindsey.
