What Song Do You Hate With Every Fiber of Your Being?
I really really REALLY hate Shakira's Hips Don't Lie.
I also really hate Rihanna's Unfaithful. Waa WaaWAH!!! She's so whiney! What songs grate on you? |
Quote:
I also hate This Is the Time on OotC. o/~ Toyaime, toyaime, this is the toyaime .. o/~ Lame, lame It's really lame |
"We Built This City" by the lovely Starship.
|
Any song by UB40.
|
Most any song by Cher especially Believe and The Music's No Good Without You. She is such a sellout.
|
Quote:
why is she a sellout? |

I hate Achy Breaky Heart. And Little Lies, for the same reasons. Dumb repetitive nervewrecking choruses. |
Currently...
Rip out the wings of a butterfly - HIM |
Here's another one...
Gold Digger. I really hate it. Really. What a stupid ass song. I'm sorry, I'm ranting today about some of the stupid crap they play on the radio. |

That's it...you're on notice buddy  I hate any song by James Blunt. I can't believe that guy got a record contract. |

Have you listened to the dreadful lyrics? What a ridiculous narrative. I hate that guy . |
That's easy...
that piece of crap by the neutered band Aerosmith "I Dont Want to Miss a Thing" (Used to be a big Aerosmith fan, but they have gone limp & ballad happy since the late 80's)...Has to be the worse song ever in my opinion!!!

Heh.
I wrote a blog about songs I hate. www.myspace.com/wondergirl9847
I hate and despise: Hey Jude by the Beatles Suspicious Minds by Elvis You're Beautiful by James Blunt Read about the others in my blog... |
^ Suspicious Minds & Hey Jude? Oh, Christy, you're going to hell for hating those. :distress:
But I loathe that Blunt guy. |
Kokomo by the Beach Boys
La Bamba by anyone Money Money by Billy Idol |
^ Oh, yes, Kokomo is horrid. :distress:
Spoonman by Soundgarden Come as You Are by Nirvana Riders on the Storm or The End by The Doors (ZZZzzzzZZzzzzzZZZzzz) Hit Me Baby by Britney (she's a pig, I f*cking hate her. It's been a while, so that felt good.) Macarena, Electric Slide, and the Electric Mambo Cha Cha blah blah whatever the f*ck it is... |

ANything ANYTHING by the evil and satanic and horrid Mariah Carey (have I mentioned I don't enjoy her?).
Also: -you're beautiful - James Blunt (this song makes me want to put sharp objects in my eyes.) -My Humps - Black Eyed Peas (I'm thinking lets just throw the entire women's liberation movement down the toilet - these songs are degrading and stupid and maddening.) -That paris hilton song -Some song I don't know the name of but it enrages me - I think it's be a group called Finger 11 or something "if I traded it aaaaalll if I gave it aaaal away for something, wouldn't that be something." And "even if I know I don't wanna know..." Ugh - HATE HATE HATE!!!! ok - I'm absolutely sure there are more - but my dander's already up so I'm stopping :p |
What I want to know is how some people can love Shakira but call Stevie the goat-voiced wonder. :p I can't stand that song, or Unfaithful. You're right, it is whiny and sounds very forced. Common trait among many young singers these days, unfortunately.
Crazy For You, by Madonna. Bias aside, she does not sound good here at all. It's the whole forced sound again. Most of the current stuff. Especially those damn Pussycat Dolls. As if we need more talentless chicks slutting it up and setting a bad example for their young fans. Not to mention their lyrics... How about RRRRRRRRRRicooooo Suuuaaaaaaave? |
The Whitney Houston butcher job of I Will Always Love You tops my list.
Hearing that thing is like watching someone puke on a Van Gogh. |

Ugh, I know the other song you're talking about. My ex best friend and her boyf listed that as one of "their songz!!!11". I feel sorry for them. |

No offense Jaz...just my opinion. I am the only gay man on earth that loathes Cher I think. |
Another song...
that sucks major ass is "Okie from Muskogee" by Merle Haggard.
Yo Merle, Ya never lived in Muskogee so how the hell do ya know what the citizens are 'smoking'??? Cause believe me my family members easily disprove yer opening lyric of that crapfest of a ode to my hometown. |
I don't really "hate or despise" too many songs...that would mean I still actually am emotionally involved with them...being indifferent about songs, to me, is MUCH worse.

:distress: Blasphemy! Heretic! Anti-Christ! But, you already KNEW I'd be hunting you down for that one, didn't you? :p |

No you're not. |

I don't loathe her myself. I think of Cher in terms similar to how I think of Vegas - sheer cheese and camp. Her gift is taking that and elevating it to an art form. She is spectacle personified. I could never regard her as an Artist the way I look at most of the singers and musicians I admire, but she amuses me in terms of culture and sheer entertainment value. I don't see that she has an emotional investment in her music, but she doesn't pretend to. She is a SHOW. And she does it the way it should be done. Full Vegas, baby. As a person, I think she is pretty cool. I love her f- you take no prisoners attitude. Must say, shame about the face, though. |

We Built This City does blow. |
I have no idea who the artist is - but I keep hearing it on the radio and cringe - the lyrics are stupid - some guy thumbing through a photo album - "This was when we were in school...what's that in Jimmy's hair..." I don't know, I just hate it...
Christy!?! Suspicious Minds is only my faaavorite Elvis song. And there isn't a bad Beatles song, imo. Some silly ones, yeah, but not bad. |
Thought of more:
Anything by Mariah Carey -Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffet. HATE! -Lady in Red - Chris DeBurgh or whatever. ew. -Beautiful-Christina Aguilera (not so beautiful..song makes me ill) And I'm not too knowledgable about new music - but I'm sure if I turned on a top 40 station I'd be able to fill more space...I'm admittedly closed-minded about music - but I am getting slightly better :o |
mr roboto-styx
in a word it is AWFUL!!! ~ |

That's "photograph" by Nickelback  such a moronic song - but the thing that gets me with them is they seem to be re-releasing the exact same song with different words - all their stuff sounds the same to me. And ITA..there is no such thing as a bad Beatles song! |
