drinking with ledgies on this friday night...

anyone else sitting at home, alone, drinking?

what are you listening to? getting ready to watch a movie? websites to check out?

:wavey:

amber 07-28-2006 07:20 PM

You missed me by one night. Where were you yesterday?? At 11:30 pm pacific???

Um, I'm going to eat chicken strips with ranch, hijack the thank you thread with stupid sex jokes, and read the books I got. Probably with pauses for watching South Park. I might talk on the phone to my boyfriend.
And drink soda. I'll definitely drink soda. Cold soda. With ice. Like a normal person.
It appears I will also be wearing my swimsuit while doing this, like every other night this week.

Don't be jealous.

foxyluva 07-28-2006 07:25 PM

Well, its 12.30 in the afternoon here in New Zealand on a saturday. But if it was a friday night and I drank alcohol - I'd be right there with ya

i would resent that comment more if i hadn't just set down a glass of fizzy, warm diet coke. sans ice.

sex jokes where? i don't know if i have the willpower to contribute. i'm running on a very low libido these days... hence the sitting at home, alone, drinking.

madformac 07-28-2006 07:32 PM

Well, its 1:30am here Saturday morning. I've just had a Fanta Lemon and I'm now listening to some music and, for Ambers benefit, I'm stroking my wood too (for everybody else this means I'm playing guitar). :wavey:

Ha, I knew it. How refreshing.

Don't worry, they're sophomoric, and so easy to keep up with. And I said where, in the Thank You thread. Which I also actually thanked you in.
Sorry about your libido. Isn't it summer there? Are you okay? Would you like to borrow some of mine? I'll wash it first...
It's cool to sit home alone... Don't forget to sing really loud after about a half a bottle. :xoxo:

WelshWitchPMD 07-28-2006 07:35 PM

I am home tonight, too. It is my Dad's 80th birthday and I bought home some clam cakes and chowda and a birthday cake. I am just happy that I don't have to work tonight. Later on I have to surf the web for new car info.

carrie721 07-28-2006 07:35 PM

I have a bottle of Jager here (the only b-day present I got to unwrap this year) but I haven't cracked it open yet. yet.

DrummerDeanna 07-28-2006 07:37 PM

I'm still at work - for another hour and a half or so. After that - I'm picking up a pizza and heading home to eat it and watch Wings - and I may make some Margaritas or a Pina Colada - I've the makings for both - haven't decided which would fit tonight better :p

Just kidding - I just haven't met any people in my new town yet - so for now I'm solo - but enjoying the hell out of it so far - I'm actually looking forward to my Friday night :D

bring it here, bring it here!!! Save it! bring it! It's mine! MINE!!!!

*ahem*. Cool present, I love Jager. I have to be careful with it, though. Wow, I haven't ordered that in a long time, you've given me inspiration for the next time I want to nearly hallucinate.

P.S. You made that sound like a threat....

It is ... y'all have never talked to me when i've been drinking jager. :woohoo:

i love/hate jager. it tastes like ****, but it gets you where you want to go fast. my friend jill from work got me a bottle of it for my bday because every time we have a really ****ty night at work, we go and do shots on the clock, and then we go back and close up the store.

amber 07-28-2006 07:46 PM

^^^^ great idea. Drinking at work, is there anything better?

I like the taste, though. mmmm, black licoricey.

amen to you. i used to drink that straight from the bottle. i'm opting for a catawba wine tonight - easy to drink and slightly classier than jager. slightly.

i wish i could drink at work. all those kids would just fade away...

the last time i drank jager, i ended up humping my girlfriend onstage at a club in niagara falls. thankfully, no cameras were involved. even more thankfully, that was five years ago :p

my first alcoholic drink was gin - straight from the bottle - at a hotel party for my friend's much older sister. i was in ninth grade. things went downhill quickly after that...

oh man, i was such a dork ... i didn't drink until i was 19, and i didn't get drunk until my 21st birthday (no joke, i almost typed "drinkday" ... which is basically what it was ...). i've made up for lost time, tho.

Damn! I didn't have alcohol until my senior year of high school! (I'm not counting the one time my uncle traded my coke with his rum and coke with I was 6 or the beer I snuck a taste of at my grandma's)!

My drink of choice is gin and tonic (Bombay!) but lately I've very much enjoyed the fruity girly drink variety.

i did the fruity girly drink for a while - tequila sunrise was my thing ... but now i'm a whiskey sour kinda girl.

Try sitting on your hand until it goes numb, and then doing the deed - it feels... well, I'll let you decide how it feels

Y'all need to get the red rocket. I like to keep my hands soft and feminine, not bulk them all up with needless activity. Let the batteries do the work!

so what does that do ... just make it seem less like YOU'RE doing it, thus heightening pleasure?

It makes you not have to do any work at all.

Thus, I always use it. I save any "work" for when someone else is there. What are you, some kind of overachiever??? I mean, you're the only one you are impressing with all that extra work   That's like doing your job well when no one is looking - what's the point?

Pretty much - but only if you do it right. 'Tis a fine art it is
