Classy. IMO, that's what's wrong with the "MTV generation". Style over substance. I can, and do, enjoy music REGARDLESS of what the performer looks like. The music should speak for itself. Not how hot the performer looks.

The title of the thread itself is HOTTEST GUITARISTS. It makes it pretty obvious what the thread's about, so you should just avoid it instead of getting into a stupid debate about style over substance.

Thanks, though, for pigeonholing me as an idiot of the MTV generation. It amuses me even more since most of the people posting pictures of their hottie guitarists have a decade or two on me.

My band opened for BOA a few years back. They were two+ hours late for the SHOW! We filled the time, by playing until they arrived. They had NO gear, insisting that "we HAVE to use yours". Sooo, we let them.

Little did he know that I also rent PA. Two weeks later, as it happened, I had rented out the main console for his show that day, to a friend of mine. I showed up 30 minutes before the show, found him, and said I need my band's money, NOW, or else I'm pulling this mixer outta here, and your show is DONE, buddy!!! He threatened me, but I said, "let's call a cop! I'll show him my receipt of ownership for this thing, and walk out the door with it!!!". He got my money, cussing me to my face, the whole time.

I still don't know how to post pics, but I'm hoping my Canadian gals can help me out here with backing the hotness of Ian Thornley, currently of the band Thornley (duh), formerly of Big Wreck. His hotness covers both the looks department as well as incredible guitar playing abilities. And his lyrics!!! Good God, that man is fantasmic!!

Okay, here's Ian Moore, George DeVore, Johnny Goudie and one more from Austin I remembered, Charlie Sexton!! He puts the sex in Sexton, baby, yeah!! He's also toured with Bob Dylan! Do a google image search on Charlie and prepare to drool! Check out his 80's hair, on the cover of SPIN, especially! LOL

...well we all know that's not true, but this Ledgie can hope! ha! Anyway...from a guy's standpoint, I always thought that Lisa Loeb was hot for a guitar playing chick. To be honest, never saw a female guitar player that "blew me away"...although Nancy Wilson is decent, and that cutie pie from The Donnas as well.
