The morning shows on TV were talking about how she looked radiant, and beautiful, and gorgeous, and how guests said the wedding kiss was really romantic, and the Nicole & Keith were very enthusiastic...

All I could think of was 1 - everyone says that about weddings! It's not like you hear people say "oh, they really weren't that into it" or "what a crappy kiss" or "didn't the bride look awful?" :rolleyes: and 2 - SHE'S NICOLE KIDMAN! Of course she looked gorgeous! :laugh:

Well anyway, they seem great together, and it seemed that the whole affair was very classy & traditional. So good luck to them. :angel:

Actually, at the last wedding I went to, the kiss was pretty gross!! :eek: :laugh:

Ugh... what about the kiss between Liza Minnelli and Davie Gest...

I read on MSNBC where it is reported that she has an "escape" clause in the pre-nup in case he reverts to excessive drug or alcohol abuse. I guess he had a cocaine addiction at one point? I never knew that!!! I wonder if they'll have babies?

Keith did have some problems with drugs and alcohol quite a few years ago, but he's been clean and sober for a long time now. :) If you watch interviews (go to youtube and search for Keith), you'll see how down to earth and cool he is. The greatest interview EVER is at youtube under Torgen and Keith Urban. It's in parts, but it's SUPER interesting. Torgen is a German (?) TV guy and watching him interview Keith is like watching 2 pals just shootin' the breeze. He asks him some VERY personal questions, but Keith deals with it all in stride. 'Cuz he's cool like dat. :)

I don't either. she used to be, but something has changed...can't put my finger on it. I do know my friend that is friends with Faith Hill said that when they filmed Stepford Wives that Nicole is kind of strange...well, strange may not be the best word.

she doesn't like to go in the sun...ever...and when she has to, it's under an umbrella...of course, this is all second-hand news

People in Australia have a big ass hole in their ozone layer, I've heard they should, or do, wear a lot of protection from the sun. Plus, Nicole is see through - she shouldn't be in the sun at all. So, rather than that being strange, I think it is smart. If she was that pale and didn't protect her skin, that would be strange.

you're right. I said "strange" wasn't the word I was looking for. but there's a difference...from my understanding of how fanatical she is about it. Compare it to Mariah Carey's inability to walk on pavement...how she must have astroturf rolled out.

I would imagine that she burns VERY easily and being an actress, you gotta be careful...don't gain weight, don't get zits, don't gain weight, don't sunburn, don't gain weight and the most important thing in the world...DO NOT GAIN WEIGHT. :rolleyes:

Mariah is just wierd in her astroturf thing...I think it's more serious with Nicole.

As for the pose...I had my picture taken professionally for a church directory once...and the photog placed my hands and had me tilt my head wierd, so I imagine that photog did the same for that wierd-a$$ pic. LOL I'd rather see their faces. :(

I think Nicole is very classy and I hope she and Keith have a wonderful marriage. He's a terrific guy and seems very happy. :)

I agree, she is quite classy. I don't blame her for not wanting to go out in the sun and what not, it does ruin your skin. I always slather on the sunscreen myself. I've been burned and blistered from the sun way too many times. In a weird way, she almost doesn't seem real to me ..... more ethereal. So tall, so white, kwim?

I have no doubt that Nicole is eccentric. But I have never heard she was difficult. Pariah, on the other hand...Lord Have Mercy. I have seen her in all her C U Next Thursday glory, and it ain't pretty. :distress:

lol. I didn't mean to imply she was difficult. I was more passing on something I heard and making an observation of the picture. the comparison to Mariah didn't really make sense either...hell, I'm hungry...I'll blame it on that.

I would never accuse Keith of being cute. I have always thought he had bad skin, a great stylist, and a decent voice and songwriting ability. Cute? Not really. Doable, in a rode hard and put away wet 2 o'clock date kind of way ?

and I agree about Keith. his body is hot, his hair is hot and he's gives good face. but I always wonder why he always has to look scruffy and why are his lips so damn dry and cracked? am I the only one that notices this? give the boy some chapstick!

Well...he must hold some interest for her as she married him. I am not attracted to him, but I can see where others might be. I just hope he treats her right as I would hate to see that woman's heart hurt, or his heart for that matter. Nicole has beautiful skin. I do believe that she tanned her fair skin at one time and, noticing lines as she aged, now runs from the light. I do think a little bit of a bronzer would do her some good at times just to remove the ghost factor.

Keith is not cute. He's sexy. Puppies are cute. Baby animals are cute. (Some) babies are cute. ( :laugh: ).

He's gotten better looking with age. I'm just glad he's clean and hey, guess what, Tom...he didn't need Scientology to help him do so! Heh.

Most definitely...much improved. That picture doesn't even look like him really.
